I agree with Mingo on that episode. I felt embarrassed that some dude with poor sportsmanship that got exposed for thousands to see sorta represented Ibuki players at the same time =.=
I was watching this video:
yea i thought it was Ibuki to at first but then i realized she doesn’t have the long hair. Maybe there’s still hope for Ibuki being in sfxtekken =o
So I just played my first SF 3s match on GGPO. I picked Ryu cuz I was trying to figure out my buttons, and I went up against an Ibuki who meant business. He was doing overhead into SA and all this fancy stuff. lol
Ahhh no unblockables?

I was so happy when I saw that cause I hoped it confirmed Ibuki NOT being in SFxTekken. Was extremely disappointed when I found out on IRC it wasn’t her lol.
You really hate Ibuki huh? Why don’t you play another character then?
Stuck with her from some low tier bet I made forever ago. We all picked terrible characters and I got stuck with Ibuki.
I dunno about you but I picked a character that I liked; a character that’s fun for me to play as. And by no means are you tethered to any one character. Picking another character is as easy as moving your stick more during the character select screen.
Don’t get me wrong, I can play like more than half the cast at a pretty high level. I don’t really like this game anymore anyways, don’t know if it’s just me getting bored of it, Yun, or what, but I can barely play this an hour a day if that.
Funny story. I actually remember the main reason for me not playing the SF3 series. I played it at some arcade randomly one day, didn’t even know the game existed. It just said “Three”. I went to go play it, wondered where all the characters went. Scrolled over to some ninja girl cause I thought she looked cool. Hated Ibuki ever since then, lmao.
Maybe cuz you play online too much? No local scene around you?
The local scene around me isn’t bad to be honest. I actually have pretty good people around me including Flash Metroid which I’ve known personally for like 7 years and lives about 5 mins from my house. To me online and offline are the same thing, I’ll randomly get hype for the game when I host at my house but that was I think once since AE launched, lmao. I just ignore playing with people offline cause I have no more interest.
just dropping a post to say im back on the street fighter train and ready to further ibuki
just posting to say i love ibuki. if someone doesnt then switch to another character. or if you truly dislike the game then switch to another game. doesnt matter how good/ bad you are… if you dont like the game or character then you need to switch.
as far as im concerned i picked ibuki cause i like her style of play as well as the way she looks… shes the perfect character to me/ for my playstyle which is patient but aggressive… ie i like to invade my opponents space while not really doing much of anything… idk its just what i like and i think ibuki does it very well.
@ mingo:
as far as what character i look at most, ive found that i concentrate on the spacing between characters most. except while comboing i look at ibuki. i rarely concentrate on only my opponents character. i admit this may make me a weaker player, but its what im most comfortable with and i like where im at as far as skill is concerned. i do think that the best players concentrate most on there opponents character as ive had convos with high level players that pretty much universally agree that they look at the opposing character more. but, for me atleast i dont like to do it… after all, i picked ibuki cause i like looking at her and i pick most of my characters that way.

its about time, nice to see you back ghost what made u stop? u were on marvel way too often
Sup people!? This is officially my first post on the forums. I love a bit of that tasty Ibuki, she is my main. Been watching lots of Sako lately. That guy knows how to play Ibuki
this is the worst post ive ever seen.
and just by looking at sakos videos, if you know crap about the game, you’d know that no one comes close to his yomi and footsies. also just the videos posted on youtube doesnt do much justice to how good he is, he is probably the only ibuki who has beaten people like tokido and mage. the commentator in one of the topanga cup streams said that sako was punishing the first rekka with a stlp so consistently that mago was afraid to use them in the rest of their matches, now thats not something any ibuki can do.
no offence to clakey, but just because he managed to run all over the screen and beat sako in a best of three doesnt mean that hes a better player, make him play an f10 and then decide.
Rekka is punishable by st.LP? :takes notes:
So anyways I’m trying to get #1 Ibuki on SSF4 AE PC, but it’s such a grind. There’s nobody with points to steal. I’m at 1647BP right now, 2284PP, and 79 games, and about 95% win rate. I basically get ~25 points for beating a D, ~35 points for beating C, and last time I saw/beat a C+ I only got 36 points.
Rean tell me how you have the patience to grind to B rank lol.
Edit: just found and played my first B rank on PC. Finally I get something worth the time: 57 points!
I’ll just wait till they patch it and go 100% win rate like I did on XBL AE before I stopped playing lol.
