I recently started getting into fighting games again so I busted out my original TE fightstick, only to be reminded that getting that thing to work on PC is a bitch (needs a certain USB that I no longer have). So I started looking into what’s the latest with arcade sticks, who makes quality stuff etc. It seems much has changed, Madcatz went bankrupt? Qanba and Hori are the shit now?
I want to ]buy a quiet arcade stick, it looks like Hori makes a silent version of their Hayabusa stick but I can’t find the quiet one specifically on any stores. Or is the normal Hayabusa stick quiet by default?
Also how do the Hori stick and buttons compare to sanwa? Back when I got my TE it was sanwa or seimitsu, anything else was no good.
I apologize for making one of these threads, but apparently so much has changed over the last… 5 years? Any guidance would be much appreciated. I want to keep the price tag under 200.
Yea you have a lot of options. Are you trying to;
• Mod your TE for current gen and silent the stick and buttons for < $200
• Buy a stick off the shelf/used with a factory silent stick & buttons for < $200
ArcadeShock, ParadiseAecadeShop, FocusAttacks are a few vendors with options for both.
Recently built a stick (well fully-modded a Pandora box), and holy shit! Why is the silent version of the JLF so expensive? It’s like 3x pricier than a normal JLF. Forget it.
And it’s not like a regular JLF is exactly “Loud” either.
