this has probably already been answered but i recall S Kill mentioning that the opp has to be grounded for iron fists S launcher to connect, meaning ANY assist will not actually work for relaunches.
you cant use videos of low level play to decide on how matchup charts are going to be. what if PW is coming into the match with 3 bars/evidence already? you say that the low level GR just did J.S all day but then the other guy likely had no idea how to play PW either. havent you seen how good PWs keepaway is with the right evidence plus turnabout mode? he could outzone pretty much any character in the game who doesnt have a teleport just from the amount of shit he can put on the screen and the speed he can put it out at.
edit: also didnt maxs assist me video show that chain rebuttal assist whiffs on crouching characters? there would even be a shitload of characters who could just dash under it as well if that is the case.
Well that sucks for IF but your missing the whole point. Gr WILL NEVER allow PW to get evidence!!! There is no situation where he’s in turnabout already because GR can just jump S to make sure he never gets ONE piece of evidence. All GR has to do is convert ONE jump S or move into combo and PW is dead because GR hits like a mack truck. How did you not get that? It’s not hard to explain.
I swear some people are slow as I’ve already said I wasn’t even doing a match-up chart genius and was just using that system as a example of how easy that match looks for Ghost Rider. You should have read more carefully before flying off the handle.
In Vol. 2 of the 2001 series, there is a part where two drivers are stuck in traffic. The one in the back hits the the other guys car, and both of them proceed to ragequit IRL out of their cars to start shit with each other. Ghost stops by, choke slams the assailant to his vehicle, and before he goes any further, the other driver yells “Stop! …I forgive him.”
Ghost lets go, calmly walks back to his motorcycle, and drives away.
Can’t IF use up a wallbounce after the spire OTG? Wall of Kun-lun works after a ground chain, so we will have to experiment with the hitstun decay after a basic bnb.

excuse me but who is the one who is flying off the handle? you throw around ridiculous claims that GR-PW is a 10-0 matchup, and then use vids of low level play to demonstrate your point, then you outright insult me just because i disagree with you? get fucking real man!
so if i back up to full screen with PW, where GRs chains cant reach, call maya assist+plus my own assist, you think you can stop me getting evidence? when mayas shield blocks both projectiles and physical hits? that chain aint getting through that shield especially when it can block hypers.
so i presume whenever you play against PW that player is never going to get a piece of evidence? be fucking realistic dude. and for your info, i did read your post and it was just a bunch of random crap. its obvious YOU didnt read MY post because there was absolutely no hostility in my post, and then you come back at me with your sarcastic attitude and fucking insulting me? if you cant take other people disagreeing with you without insulting them, then what the fuck are you doing here?
Maybe I was over aggressive but my point still stands that all I have to do is move a few steps forward and I’m can still hit you! PW has terrible mobility so it’ll be hard as hell for you to stay away from me when my chains cover 3/4 of the screen and it only takes one mistake to end you. Not to mention you may not even get the right evidence and I could have a tracking assist like Doom missiles or Strider’s kick to hit you no matter where you are that Maya can’t stop.
Speaking of Maya, she isn’t some auto zone button and is easily gotten around by jumping and doing S as I’ve said before. You COULD get evidence but GR will make it hard as hell and it’s way easier for me to hit you once then destroy your life.
Plus I already said it’s called exaggerating I wasn’t really saying it like it’s fact. Are you dense? GR is a bad match up and PW has very few tools preventing me from hitting him then converting into combo for most of his life if not all of it.

you make it sound like PW players are gonna be relying on nothing but maya to collect evidence. how bout if if i have my own hidden missiles? did that thought not occur to you? how bout i open you up with a teleporter, TAC in PW and collect evidence while you are on the ground after my hard knockdown? pretty certain that GRs chains dont hit through maya shield since ive seen vids of it eating normals, while PW sits inside its hitbox collecting evidence. what if i call assist to push you backwards, call maya, backdash and collect evidence? lets see you jump S. over that.

I didn’t insult your mother or fam and never made it personal stop being a baby. I could just as easily use a teleporter to open up wright or kill your teleporter but that’s not the point.
With both on point even with assist I can hit PW without much effort because I could have my own tracking assist meant to hit you and stop you from collecting evidence while yours will be blocked because I will be stopping you anyway which was the goal. How are you not getting that I’m not talking about going through Mayas sheild but easily going around it with my normals and tracking assists.
If you call assist I’ll call assist and I’ll still have the advantage because I don’t need to get close just 3/4 of the screen which is easy because PW has not screen control of his own without evidence. PW is always in the worse of the two positions and I’ll be winning because your always going for evidence while I’m chipping away at your life bar.
BTW if you keep backdashing you’ll end up in the corner with no where to run where it’ll be even easier to lock PW down and open him up to a TOD combo. And even if you do get lucky enough to complete ONE search evidence motion you still might get garbage that is useless.
To late to see the other post about not discussing match-ups.

PW on his own doesnt look that great against GR if he’s in range to Jump S all day sure, but there’s a reason why matchup talk is somewhat redundant in this game, Assists pretty much cover the weaknesses your character has (assuming you’re using the right ones) so its really not worth the back and forth, ESPECIALLY when the game is not even out yet ~__~

well actually yes you did insult me. last i checked calling someone “dense” “slow” and sarcastically calling me “genius” are pretty fucking insulting to someone you dont know. you were the one who threw his fucking dummy out the pram first mate so you calling me a baby is pretty funny. when you can have a discussion without throwing insults around like a teenager when someone has another opinion to you then things will be different.
and as someone else posted above me tiers are a very grey area in this game since assist characters are such a big part of the gameplay. to assume you are always going to have an advantage due to your assists is only a valid remark if you completely disregard your opponents assists/setups.
No not really I never discounted your assist at all, I said if you calling assist plus Maya’s shield I can call assist then either block or do jump S and still be in a better position because I’m losing nothing by blocking while your still not getting any closer to turnabout because you’ll either have to block or get hit.
I’ve already established that without assist I have the advantage so with the cool down period of assist that’ll at least get me a little time to keep the pressure on you to stop ya from getting evidence.
You get your assist back I get mine back and I’m still gonna block while your gonna either get hit or not get any closer to turnabout by getting hit.
You still haven’t proved how PW has any advantage in this situaction and the best thing you could come up with is using a different character to buy time which seems to me like it’s a bad match up for PW.
anyway…so about that Ghost Rider…I can’t wait to play him so I can condemn everyone to hell.
