If they leave the ground at all it won’t hit. You have to use something like Taskmaster’s arrows.
Maybe I can use the spire later to combo into a hyper I’m sure that’ll work just fine. Hooray for loop holes!
On topic: Since so many have been waiting for RR and FW is anybody gonna change their teams or thinking about it now that they are here? I’m gonna stick with IF/GR/Vergil because the team seems very solid and I already have like two zoning teams already so RR is redundant to me.
I don’t think that Ghost Rider gives Iron Fist much as an assist. Try GR/IF instead, with Dragon kick to keep them off of you.
I have IF on point to build meter for GR with his extra meter building abilities he’ll be great as a battery so Ghost has plenty of meter to do damage when I DHC him in. I’ll mostly use Vergil rapid slash assist to help IF get in but GR’s full screen chain will likely do enough pin down for me to get close with IF which is the whole point.
I think mt team compliment each other nicely TBH. IF builds the meter ( necessary for Vergil later) and can deal with threats getting to close to GR with his assist, Ghost with assist will take care of long range threats IF can’t and do BIG damage with his combos plus if Iron FIst gets killed early GR will be great at happy birthdays on point so they’ll have to be careful of calling assist all crazy. Finally Vergil as anchor with alot of meter is GDLK and he has a great assist that covers IF on his way to rape you with his priority normal and mix-ups.
I’ve thought alot about this and this team is build to cover each others weaknesses. I can always change the order but I don’t think I’ll need to.
Why I was thinking of doing IF second be because of that godlike fullscreen invincible wallbounce assist, which of course, Ghost Rider can easily combo off of.
I kinda figured that what you were thinking and it’s not a bad idea at all but I just think GR with 3 bars behind him before coming in is much better than GR with one meter to start. While IF seems like he’ll suffer less on point than Ghosty will and has better resets so he won’t need as much meter to kill.
Of course GR hits hard as shit and when I DHC him in or raw tag when the opponents dead he’ll definitely have IF’s kick bouncing for him no doubt about that. Tell ya what, if it turns out you right and GR/IF is better than IF/GR I’ll just start liking your posts all willy nilly for like a month.
It’ll be so much fun when the game comes out and we figure out that all our theory fighting was wrong and that Rocket Raccoon and Vergil are bottom tier and Iron Fist is the best anchor ever.
If Vergil is ass I’ll laugh mine off because he reminds me of vanilla Wolvie with a big sword. If Iron fist is great anywhere else besides battery he’ll be high tier and I’ll be very happy person.
Since you like GR so much you think he’ll hold up as the game develops? I’m sure he will but others seem to think PW will last longer at high lvl which is just silly to me mostly because Ghost Rider vs PW is like 10-0 in GR favor.
Just jump S all day then confirm into combo and he’s dead.
I really don’t know what to think about anyone, except that I think Vergil is great and Nemesis is not.
My Team is locked.
We really doin this? calling Matchup numbers when the game is not even out yet?.. really?
I was obviously exaggerating for effect. I’ve seen some matches where PW just gets destroyed by j S even with Maya shield and calling assists trying to get evidence. The guy didn’t even know how to play GR just did jump S and wrecked his whole plan.
Still think GR is a bad match up for PW until I see differently and welcome conflicting opinions.

Here it is, I was very surprised how easy it was for GR to make Maya useless at even the low lvl of play.
There’s just way too many fricken characters I want to use! I can’t even sit here and decide a proper GR team right now
Is in serious need of Danger Room time
How solid is the Chain of Rebuttal assist looking? I skimmed through the last few pages and only found people talking about Spire and Hell Fire. But Chain is fast as hell with some good range and presumably projectile invulnerability, right?
The problem is that no one really has been using it, so we know very little about it. Max didn’t say anything about invulnerability, but it does look really fast and gives you a wall bounce. I think that if you have an OTG assist already, it could be used as a combo extender, but that’s about it.
Near the end of this video…

How do you guys do spoiler tags anyway? I only know how to embed and see no spoiler button, is there something I not doing or what?
On Topic: I really like chain of rebuttal as an assist personally, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t have invulnerability because it hits across the screen and that would be powerful as hell. (pun not intended)
I think like Ultima said it’s meant to be a combo extender but I really want to see how many times exactly it hits and if it can be used to pin down your opponent to get in.
I just think with how fast Chain of Rebuttal hits it could be good for teleport/command dash mixups. What’s the range on it anyway? About 3/4ths of the screen?
About that, near full screen. It comes out fast so if it has enough blockstun you could use it like say Mag’s Disruptor assist to help speedy characters get in

Thank you!
Hmmmm? There really should be a button for that because it’s too much to remember imo.
I think might post one more gameplay vid if the thread stops in activity just to keep the GR discussion healthy.
