Nay, the gap is between the cr.lk and the clap. cr.lk and cr.mp both combo (on hit) or are a true blockstring (on block) after a clap.
Oh I know, but I was referring at the video SimSim made. If you can read that a Hugo will keep on doing cr. lk into clap to maintain pressure (like he did in the vid), a raw launcher can open him up + you’ll have the options SimSim mentioned in his post. 
Or doesn’t a raw Launcher beat the cr. lk in this situation?
What Breezy is saying, is that there is no room for the raw launcher to come out before the cr.lk, because clap causes such high block stun. If you mash launcher, it will come out after the c.lk and before the clap, and I think clap beats raw launcher? This would be true if I did the loop 4-6 times, but I am doing it across the whole screen, which I think leave room for a raw launcher between clap and cr.lk after all.
I think she could have got him off with EX senpusha too, she had a meter and a lot of those weren’t air tight. A lot of walk forwards in between.
I’ve been calling this The Hugo Shuffle: Been using this set up a lot lately (the account isn’t mine, btw - friend just asked me to get him the C rank achieve so please don’t message him, lol).
A lot of people have been doing the corpse hop after MK backbreaker and going for an ultra throw after you mess up their roll. What I’ve been doing is immediately going for another breaker and corpse hop so that they think I’ll go for the ultra again (you could combo off the wall bounce but I’m trying to panic them by immediately putting them back into the same situation) - causing them to press buttons and eat the EX moonsault.
