Dear god I hope there’s really a new GG in production. Don’t get me wrong, I like BB but GG just had so much more soul to it’s world/characters :3
Only reason I’m playing SF4/SSF4 is because my fighting crew still play it. We used to play all kinds of things (for a long time, soul calibur was the big title for us, though I couldn’t get into 2, 3 was a bit borked and 4 feels like it’s missing something) but now it’s just street fighter, street fighter, street fighter. I’m sick of it really, especially as SF4/SSF4 are the only fighting game I can’t execute even simple moves reliably in, so I’m desperately hoping that BB:CS finally crawling onto the UK shores will save me from having to spend any more time playing it
I’m still bemused/frustrated that the game that’s supposedly the easiest to execute moves in causes me to stumble on even the humble quarter circle while in Blazblue and GG our matches are usually comboriffic games of tight execution I don’t struggle in at all. Then again I’ve lost count of the times I’ve seen a bison player with Ultra 1 end their combo with a non-intentional teleport instead of doing their ultra :3
Hopefully Street Fighter x Tekken comes out soon enough. SSF4 is really goddamn boring, and all the returning characters were better in their old games.
let’s see here, we got the ssf4 arcade update coming, 3s online edition, mvc3, and sf vs tekken in the pipeline so i think it’s safe to assume it will be at the very LEAST 3 years before sf5 comes out. i’m guessing it’s more like 5 or 10 years until sf5 but who knows.
