Sat, April 5th MvC2/ 3S/ CvS2 tourney (and some B-man)
Alright, I know this is mad late of a notification but I’m posting this in case some peeps are not aware of this b/c it was originally posted in the MvC2 thread. We have 14 confirmations thus far. Just trying to get more to enter 3S b/c my homey SF3LP said he’s gonna own it up for free.
Who: Me
What: MvC2 / 3S / CvS2 tourney (or session depending on turnout)… and some Bomberman :bgrin:.
When: Sat, April 5th. Casuals starts at 1pm. 3S will start promptly at 3pm, CvS2 at 4pm, then a food break afterwards, and MvC2 at 6pm.
Where: My place in Hempstead (Nassau county). PM me for directions.
How: Typical standard tourney rules for all games and they will be played in arcade mode. In both MvC2 and CvS2 winner must keep same order of team. In 3S winner can change art. You can use the controller of your preference ONLY during the tourney. Casual will use sticks that are provided. There will be 2 stations running. I will use 3 if necessary.
This tourney was just too damn random to explain. First, the dude that was expected to be in 3S finals (Glenn) had to leave early b/c of Icon. Second, the dude that adamantly pushed for a CvS2 tourney (Chi) shows up mad late b/c of an unexpected appointment. Third, that dude that was expected to win the marvel tourney (POND aka Terry) decides to just randomly leave for church. And finally, the dude that was the catalyst for having this whole tourney from the get-go (Antione) shows up when everything was over :rock:. Let me add, there where other randomnesses as well (eg. Denf’s contact lense led to a shortage of joysticks, FOB’s with no sense of directions on the parkway, big black dudes running into low-hanging asian decorations and chandeliers, etc) but I’m not gonna elaborate b/c I don’t feel like being too verbose.
So yeah, there you have it. Randomness won, MvC2 and 3S lost. I will post CvS2 results later.

I swear I’m gonna make the next CvS2 tourney sudden death matches. First hit wins. Tourney over in 10 minutes.
Man Fachetty. He told me he doesn’t play at all anymore, and last time I tried calling him his phone number got disconnected or something, I figured he’d gotten a new one. Tell him to get in contact with me sometime if you can Syn, he oughtta have my number.
When did CvS2 start anyway? I thought you said it’d start at like 3 or 4, so I didn’t think there’d be a point in me coming around 5ish or so, but then I hear this tourney goes on for like forever.
Didn’t you say Andrew should be back this month? It’d be cool to see that guy again too.
