Hmm… Not now, but when these start to pick up popularity, maybe I will conisder something like…$15 for 1st game
$10 for 2nd game
$5 for the restAnd/or maybe some crazy deal like $50 to enter in all games.
It’s just I really need to make money for Castle Golf through these. In the 1st event, you all gave me a total of $265 which in turn resulted in only $80 for Castle Golf. (and I’m supposed to take my money out of what Castle Golf gets. But when I saw how low it was, I gave them all $80) They typically net about $100 for each 3-hour party they could be hosting instead of these tourneys. So I have to do better before I can think about dropping the prices.
Just spread word everywhere can. Print out the flyer and post it up everywhere. Especially colleges where people often play. Ask your local game stores if they would be willing to hang one up and/or pass them out to everyone who buys a fighting game. Spread the word on every forum and social networking site you go to. When we start to average like 25+ people, I can comfortably lower prices. (1st event was like 15 people, so we’re not that far off)
Another alternate pricing method would be something like:One-time $10 venue that goes straight to Castle Golf
$2 - 5 to enter each game.But that won’t give much for prizes. Especially in 4-man tourneys like last time. (you could actually lose money even if you win 1st place if the tourney is too small)
By the way, I’m working on an all-purpose one-time flyer in addition to Adam C’s weekly flyers. So I need you all to tell me every game you think you’d ever be interested in having a tourney in.

i think since most people wont have adapters for dreamcast why dont we play on my jps2 vamp sav 2…its the same exact game as vamp chronicles when you select your character in vamp chron you can select savior or savior 2… you would select savior 2 to play as a vamp sav 2 chracter

I was under the impression that Chronicle is a new game that combines all the content of the previous games and adds some new things, and Anthology is just each individual original game packaged onto one CD.

yes that is true that vamp chron does combine contents from the previous games you just have to select which version of the chracter you want to play.its kinda like playing hyper sf2 on anniversary and playing a stchun vs a ce bison which is definatly over powerd…thats why most of the time it selected vampire sav 1 mode i the tourn standard or agreed upon which version of the chracters whill be tourn legal.and vmap antho is thearacde perfect versions of each game…i just thought that most people wouldnt have adatpers for ps2 to dreamcast it would be easier if we playd on antho on ps2. it up to you on what you want to do its your tourn

O yea Cla, if i do come Sunday, do u need me to bring a PS2 or a 360? or do i get more discounts if i bring both? :X I have UMK3 on the 360, however from what i heard, you cant play XBox Live Arcade stuff if your not connected to live, even if your not going to play it online. For PS2 i have 3S and GGXX Slash.

Hmmm, I did not know you needed to be connected to Xbox Live. If that is the case, then I’ll have to find someone who has the Platinum Edition of Armageddon that comes with UMK3. (or maybe I’ll get it)

We could certainly use your PS2 and 3S. We probably won’t need it, but you can bring your GGXXS as well. If GGXXS somehow becomes uber-popular in casuals, we can run 2 stations.
Until these get more popular, I was planning on only 1 discount of $5 regardless of how much equipment you bring. But maybe I can at least give you $6 or $7 off if you bring 2 systems and both get used.
