I love Japan, but I will explain everything when I get back. I mean schooling calls first. As awesome as Japan is, there is a really brutal uncomfortable zone here. Like I said, use my theme park explanation, its great to go to Canadas wonderland and for a short time it is fun and thrilling, and exciting, but once youve stayed too long, it doesnt feel as fun anymore. However the SF here is definitely always fun.

Alvin whats up man. I just got a copy of SC 5 to help pass the time here in the land of shit, Arvand told me you were the one to talk to. For obvious reasons I like the DLC character dampierre but he seems to be a joke tier character rivaled only by the likes of Dan in Street Fighter. Is he viable, or should I just drop him for someone else? I never have been one to play high tiers, MVC3 vanilla being the exception and even that was an accident (I wanted to play team x-men before the game even was released who knew wolv, storm and phx would be top tier).
Anyways is dampierre shit? Let me know I dont want to waste my time practicing a joke character. Also wtf is with quick match mode? That shit is impossible it’s like the computer reads your inputs and owns you accordingly, I went 0-50 or something against a xiba .
Lastly, if you want to play some umvc3 online I’m down. I’m practicing team “Drew’s trash”, it used to consist of skrull, nemesis and arthur but now I put captain america in skrulls place sometimes. The idea is to own drew with the poor characters he threw away to shit so he could scrub out and pick top tiers like dormamu. I could probably own him even now but we’ll wait until I come back to London for that so he cant blame lag.
Oofmatic mains dampierre. The guy that won NEC9 I think. He lives in Toronto. He makes me think dampierre is godlike. Learn how to do his Srk kicks perfectly and you’ll get 55% health combos off a simple sidestep punish. I went toe to toe in Ezio mirrors with this guy then he whipped out dampierre on me. I think score was around 30+ - 6 for the dampierre vs Ezio set. Tho he seems solid, I don’t think he’ll be a popular char since he’s a bit tricky to use. I love using dampierre as a newbie crusher. They have no clue how to deal with his shenanigans. I was lucky enough to know dampierre’s shenanigans before playing oof but still got stomped on.
Quick match is just to get titles and unlock stuff. There are CPU difficulty ratings. Hard CPUs r psychic. I find they tend to fall for frame traps often though.
Wow someone won a major with him? K I’ll stick to it then. Are there videos out there? I guess more than anything my SC fundamentals have gotten soft since I dropped SC4 years ago. I feel like I just eat everything no matter how much I try to block. Hey do you know how to make his throws do more hits? I’ve seen videos where he like punches people in the face 40x or slaps them in the ass 10x is it a mashable throw?
Oh and his srk kick is good but I find there is no point in trying to do the just inputs online so I just mash it out and get the final painful kick about 50%. Offline the rate is better.
