The idea is not to play top tier characters like yun, yang, fei long. Zangief broken?? lol he is F tier in this game. No more knockdown on EX green hand? And Lariat loses to pretty much anything too. My mains rose and honda got nerfed to oblivion too. No more free satellite and Honda used to hit like a truck now it’s more like a girl’s tricycle.
Actually I tried to pick up Oni but he’s just too weak. No real way to fend off pressure. He looks really good on paper, floating in the air, an auto crossup that easily combos into ultra, fast pain overheads, painful target combos, high priority SRK, but it all goes to shit somehow in a real match.
I probably have the two best excuses: I finished fourth and lost to a phoenix. Toronto’s better than me right now, I’ll have to train like Ryu until the next tournie.
I doubt I’ll do any extra sessions until after Thursday. Gonna catch up on sleep and whatnot.

btw ard, finished Bioshock 2, this was soooo fast and short compared to 1. Plus once I got my fav Pasmids and weapon nothing could stop me lol. Found all the recordings and upgrades in first attempt.
Yup, that’s me. Seems that the folks who know me either know that disc, or the pcbs. Cant really find people who know both 
Current plans are to be in London around the 1st of the month. The girlfriend flies back about then, and then I got two weeks to blow however I want, I just got to make it to Amsterdam by the 17th.

You don’t happen to play Darkstalkers series or Vamp Sav to be more specific do you?
Not well, but I do. I have a vsav CPS-2 board I throw into my cabinet occasionally. I enjoy the game, but the more advanced stuff takes a bunch of training mode practice to get down. I still can’t reliably c.short c.short back-forward PP with Raptor, Guard cancels are a crap shoot, my bubble trap is unreliable. VSav is a great game, but the heavy rush down focus makes it pretty hard for me to play long sets against good players, since I dont have a solid grasp of my options.
I have a decent Dante on marvel 3, I love marvel 2 but suck at it. ST is godlike on a cabinet, but playing on GGPO or playing HDR makes me want to punch a baby.
It’s looking like I may need to get as cheap as possible; it anyone in the London area can offer a floor to crash on for me and the GF on the night of June 30th and/or any number of days before that (29th, 28th, whatever) please let me know and we can work out a trade for stick tech or work. I can easily bring parts like Cthulhus, Kittys, or one of my optical JLF boards,and can install them if you have the tools ; someone can get a Sanwa Flash clone early.
If I didnt have to carry it around for two weeks, I’d offer a stick, but that’d be a bit much to haul around.
