I stand corrected it’s not Zombie Baseball it’s the Chainsaw Blaster itself that’s broken, the boss fight that occurs after baseball is unplayable and unwinnable because of it. Greaaaaaaaat.
e: quitting to XMB fixed it :\

You can turn the auto aim off in the options, but the baseball part messed up for me too. Kept getting headshots so the sparkle meter filled, triggered and Juliet was stuck in place. Dashboarded and it worked fine the second try.
Having a blast playing this, just got to the Baseball field and Nick died, since I suck at FPS type aiming :bluu: Guess I’ll try the auto aim feature, see if that helps.
So after beating this yesterday I didn’t really think much. Thought it was a solid game with some problems, but not at all bad and incredibly funny. Didn’t really feel it was short either, mostly just ends abruptly. However replaying through the earlier levels all beefed up with real combos and such to beat Dad’s high scores has been a lot more fun than the first time through. Still not worth 60 bucks, but it’s certainly grown on me.
Where’s that Sonic that posts here when we need him? I mean he works there.
Killer 7 would like a word with you.
Great game, first game in quite a while to make me laugh often. Story was alright, though it was pretty generic just go kill x bosses fight final form end. Though main problem i found was it was wayyyy to short. Finished it in what 4-6 Hours? Could be longer but hey i enjoyed it.
The best part of any sudagoichi game: 90% of the people who buy his games never grasp the irony by which his game operate
Killer7 was ultimately a commentary on terrible, uninspired game design. No More Heroes 1 & 2 are about tired conventions in action game design, storytelling, and the pervasive juvenile bravado of the industry and its audience. Shadows of the Damned was also about the male power fantasy, but even more sexualized and cartoony. I haven’t finished Lollipop Chainsaw yet, but it pretty much looks like one big shot at sexist character design and the creeps who revel in it.
I was busy getting trolled by assholes for most of my day. I swear one of these days I’m just gonna use all 7 emeralds and…wait what are we talking about again?
OH yeah preorder. If you preordered the game at GS you would have gotten the Ash skin from the Evil Dead and a Jimmy Urine skin.
Edit:
I actually had someone buy this game, take it home, read reviews and such that said this game was 4 hours, take the wrapping off of it and play it for a couple of hours, and then brought it back in the same day. He’s been the only one I heard who was disasstisfied with the game but he only played it for a short moment. Most of you guys ans the impressions I read on Gaf seem to be enjoying it though.
The game is meant to be played at harder difficulties after you finish it. The loading screen ticker mentions harder modes changing enemy placements and shops. There are also things like time attack mode and stuff to unlock if that appeals to you. Honestly it’s really worth it even if only to give Suda51 support.
This game is mad fun. Reminds me like playing a good ol fun arcade game. Even the boss music sounds like it came out of a Konami Arcade Boss Theme song.
When I picked the game up I received a huge promo box with lots of Lollipop Chainsaw goodies like a poster, lythograph, keychains, sound horn, bloody pompoms, and a sticker.
There was more items inside, but it looks like some of the employees took them like the shirt and the USB stick. Either way I got some cool free stuff.
It’s fun, could definitely have benefited from 3 or 4 more stages so the majority of it is grinding out the achievements, but it made me laugh plenty. Some of the lines are way the hell out there, but the viking death metal boss and the Kanye Funk boss was some funny shit. The game has tons of personality across the board. It’s not gonna set the action game world on fire with it’s combat, but it’s an enjoyable title.
True dat.
The overall sound track shocked the fuck out of me.
I’m loving every song so far, it’s amazing the shit out of me. Some of these songs sound so familiar, and thought it was just me. Then I heard a song that I swore was from Children of Bodom, only to find out that it was.

Pretty sweet soundtrack overall
I actually love the non-license music they made for the game.

Just beat the game, and for some reason, I don’t understand, but aside from masturbating to magical pony voices, I actually liked this game.
I don’t know what’s wrong with me, maybe my standards for games dropped or something, but the final stages of the game had nothing but pure gameplay and no cut scenes or gimmicks. Normally when a game does this, you see it for what it really is, and the game is crap (one example; Uncharted series has shit gameplay. Final stages of the game have no cut scenes and you see the game for what it really is, and that it’s ASS), but I actually had a fuck load of fun fighting random zombies. The bosses towards the end just had more forms to deal with and less gimmicks, which is something I didn’t want due to how bad the gameplay was, but in the end turned out for the better.
Dealing with NG+, the game seems a lot of fun for some odd reason and I can’t explain it.
It’s like the game grew on me or something. I don’t know, I only play this game when I’m high, so that could explain a lot.
It’s done by Akira Yamaoka (or whatever his name is). He is the guy behind the music in the Silent Hill games and Shadows of the Damned.
Whoa, that explains a lot
Finally got past that god awful baseball  minigame, only to have to do another shooting minigame, I hope this is the last of those :wasted:, those really detract from the fun on the game for me
Well thats game platted and done. May go and collect all costumes some time.
Baseball minigame wasnt that bad, its quite easy once you just focus on the correct side.
baseball was ridiculously easy how did anyone have trouble with it
where is the option to play as karate elvis gideon?
