If this game has fun gameplay and the NG+ Shadows of the Damned sorely lacked I’ll be happy. Gonna leave to pick up my copy around 11, I will not play this game with pants on.

Game’s pretty fun so far and rather hysterical at times HOWEVER having to purchase/upgrade the ability to cancel poms poms into chainsaw is so fucking bush league. Combat became much more fluid once I did that, I wish they just went the Bayonetta route and gave me everything from the start to craft my own shit but I assume you only use poms poms and a chainsaw so they couldn’t really…oh well…
Its fun. Made me laugh a few times, definitely a bit of toilet humor…combat gets deeper the more you unlock stuff, hovers somewhere between Bikini Samurai Squad with better production values and Bayonetta, but the game has it’s charms. Has leaderboards and scoring modes, seems like once you upgrade you’ll be able to keep everything cuz you can backtrack and replay levels. There’s score challenges that don’t seem to be obtainable at your starting stats.
Overall review scores for the game seem very favourable, this may just be Suda 51’s best game yet.
Hopefully one of my usual shops has the game by the next few days ^_^v
EDIT: Oh and apparently 360 ver. is the better one from what I’m reading.
7 Hours of gameplay. Seems just around the same amount of time as Vanquish.
You do keep all your stuff, I changed the difficulty to hard at the title screen and it asked if I wanted to continue from last checkpoint.
My girls birthday is today, so I copped this at Gamestop waiting for them to open so she could play when she got up. she hyped it all up n shit but I just couldn’t get into it. it’s pretty entertaining for a weekend but I couldn’t see any more investment afterward, and possibly before then…minutes?

Just completed the first area of the game. It’s fun but somewhat frustrating. Lots of QTE’s in this game which is going to probably make me just turn it off. The loading times is just terrible, and dieing because you fuck up one of those means you’ll have to reload the whole fucking area + redo whatever it was up to that point including the stuff you bought at the shop.
If it bleeds, I can kill it.
Zombie Baseball is glitched and pisses me off, this part isn’t even hard and the game seems hell bent on fucking me over. First time I went to it whenever I’d up L2 she constantly pulls up the gun and puts it down making it unplayable. Second time it worked properly and I lost because the auto aim blows since it kept pulling me to the ONE dude on third base instead of the mob surrounding Nick on first, and the third time now I keep getting the glitch from the first. Ugh.
Oh and if you quit to reload it puts you way the fuck back during the Chainsaw Dash segment instead of at the field like if you would continue…thanks game ;___;
