how well you play has alot to do with why you don’t need wards to know when a predictable gank is coming. predictable is predictable. sure knowing 100% instead of 90% is great but i have yet to encounter any player in league of legends that is so sneaky enough where i need a ward to avoid the situation.
not like anyone in this game has a 1000-1200 range blink dagger to initiate with… every type of battle situation in league is predictable… except for the part with teleporting to a ward… wouldn’t buy wards because i buy wriggle’s lantern.
so my “ignorant ass” is aware of the game enough to never have been ganked unexpectedly a single time in league of legends. dota is a different story because there is no way to predict a 1000 unit instant teleport. how do you get surprised by a fucking character that walks for over 3 seconds to be able to get in range to perform any type of gank? don’t need wards to see that coming.
we should play, like i said, i doubt anyone posting in this thread has any type of idea the type of shit i’m talking about. we can just play and i will demonstrate it - simply put. we can have mixed teams and i’ll play with any of you worthless scrubs who think you own because you buy wards lol niggas buy wards all the time and still get raped
except you don’t put the ward in that bush(at least for bottom) you put it at dragon so you can see when they are deciding to fight dragon as well as travel between the jungles, you can ward their buffs to mess up their jungler. Same thing with top, ward baron instead of that bush and you get way more info. Heck just seeing their jungle walk across river even thinking about ganking and seeing his health can be helpful. You get a lot more out of wards than just anti ganking tools.
once again, knowledge of the game gives you all of that information without needing to place a ward

Dropped a little Jack-In-The-Box with Shaco when we were pushing mid, the team mates not in the lane Teleported to it and we made it through the Nexus. was so fucking tight! Now, if only they’d get some… good Shaco skins.
I agree with saying that predicatable ganks can very much be avoided without ever needing a single ward.
Just having map awareness is key. I only play lol nowadays very casually. Not as much as I used to. I’m no scrub, but i’ve played enough and long enough that I’m have no need to prove anything to anyone.
killing heroes is key, pushing towers is key. Champion tiers don’t matter a good player will destroy with the tools they have. Ignite, port, exhaust ect.
I wish I had the ability to know where the jungler is at all times

Well I would say I think wards are a key or standard to playing. A good team will be unpredictable with ganks and such. But wards help more than ganks tho. I think most high lvl players use wards.
Without wards, you kinda gimping yourself and your team IMO. Combine wards and map awareness skill and then it is good stuff.
Me personally. I use clairvoyance and use wards so I fuck over the team without actually healing or doing damage. Then again I only been playing this game for 2 months. But I saved alot of gank attempts for sure.
I’ve had Rammus since February and I still can’t play the prick. Seems every time I pick him my team goes full retard and decides that I’m going to lane with a squishy melee against two mages. Long story short we both get ravaged.
I like how skeletorg is talking all this shit while at the same time refusing to post his in game name.

You should be jungling on Rammus, for realz. He has the nastiest ganks of any jungler and can jungle quite fast. That’s not to say your experience can’t still be ruined by dumb teammates, but a jungling Rammus is far more dangerous than a laning one.
