Galio is considered by many to be the best tank in the game, if not one of the best characters. He is just one of those characters that requires A LOT of skill and team coordination.
If by many, you mean Elementz then yes, many do consider him to be #1. Everyone else thinks Amumu is still the best tank with Galio in second.

Garen Galio Amumu and Shen are the top tier tanks imo.
Rammus is close.
Malphite Singed and Cho’gath worse.
Cant think of any other decent tanks.

Mord isn’t as good as people think. He has no skill that let’s him initiate safely. Against a smart group of people he will be rendered useless.

I haven’t seen a good galio yet, but mummy and shen are the two best imo.
Garen is not a tank and people need to stop building him as one.
mordekaiser has a lose lose situation with how to build him. Build him bulky and they can ignore you, build him to be able to actually hurt people and he goes down easy. The only way to really win with mord is to just continue pushing a lane all game and hope either they don’t send enough to stop you or send to much to stop you. If people practically ignore you all game and let you super farm a lane though it’s hilarious when they finally realize they ahve to stop you and you can take three of 'em by yourself!
Mordekaiser is the best laner ever IMO. Even more so then galio because he does not need mana.
Galio is a great tank because his has great nukes and his ultimate wins team fights. I would say that he is a 10 and amumu is a close 9. Shen is just too awesome lol.

Morde isnt that good of a tank. He has no CC or initiate, and all he adds to team fights is AOE DPS.
If there are no minions around, his shield is crap and he will go squish.
He doesnt fit the tank role very well.
Almost every tank has to double as initiator.
And has to have some sort of CC.
Thats why Mundo sucks as a tank for many reasons.
He has no initiate and no CC other then a SHORT duration slow on a skillshot.
His dps lacks in teamfights and can be ignored, or focused down whenever he does something stupid.
However Mundo is a beast in 3v3, perhaps the best 3v3 char in the game.
Who I did forget in my tier list however is Taric.
Taric is pretty fucking boss.
I put him up with Rammus.
He can just destroy games early and push teams back so much that late game never comes.
Ive never seen another hero do it as often as Taric.
And often he dominates games with 0 kills.
Letting your carry get those KBs and shutting a lane down?
Fucking boss I tell you.
(however he is boring as shit for me to play, and requires a good lane mate that coordinates well with his stun for ez early game kills.)

I’ve had a terrible run with LoL and got myself dropped deep into ELO Hell (even though I only play ranked games because there’s usually less leavers/crappy players/etc) Still a lot of fun to play though!
Anyone know if Tiamat is viable on any ranged characters?
Also, I saw MoveSpeed Heim go 10-1 last night and had be rolling the entire game XD

Actually he is a tank, and a great one at that.
He is however versatile and does not have to be built as a tank.
He can go hybrid/offtank/dps just fine.
But imo his best build is tank.
Ive seen garens with Infinity Edge go wreck house… ive seen far more fail from DPS garen then tank garen. And ive seen WAAAAY more tank garen overall.
Just cause you can pubstomp once every 10 games with a build doesnt make it good.

Tiamat isnt a very good item.
It used to be a core item on Twitch however.
And was core on DPS malphite.
Since malphite change its not viable, and Twitch still has better options.
But Tiamat Twitch loves him a closely grouped teamfight.
Pubstomp you some pentakill.
Its also decent on Gangplank… but Avarice blade builds are so much better.
MFs can use it to some extent, but only if they have some AoE disable support. The problem with Tiamat is that you are paying money for mostly useless bonuses; e.g., hp regen and mp regen.

All high level gangplanks I’ve seen actually run tank plank not avarice plank(both from experience and watching vids). I usually start with a single avarice, then build boots, then sunfire cape, then banshee’s veil, then atma’s, then finish yomuu’s then infity edge. I really like the build it’s a lot of fun and less of a 1 trick pony than pure crit build. With parrrley and sunfire cape it farms money like crazy, sunfire+banshee’s + atma’s is a LOT of survivability, crit and damage. With banshee’s and remove scurvy and raise moral he is hilariously hard to catch.
Astronaut Teemo looks pretty fucking sweet. Now if we could only get legendary skins for heroes people actually play…
I tried watching replays of the tournament matches (From GDC I think?) but it was rather bland without commentary. Anyone know if there are versions with some kind of live commentary/insight? Still being new, I find a lot of trouble in understanding why players/teams do exactly what they do etc
