I pretty much only get on on saturdays, which is when a bunch of my friends are over and we have fullish premades already :(.
Those are scrub comments right there. You gotta learn the game before you judge it, and if all you are doing is getting ganked you are doing something wrong. Either staying in your lane way to long when a lot of heroes are missing are staying in when you have little to no health. Also try jungling out so you can return the favor just use Warwick or Shaco watching some vids and read some guides on how to play them.

Ganking is strong at the lower levels because most people are stupid and roll Reviheal instead of Teleghost (when you are 12 you should roll FlashGhost until you are comfortable enough to only use one or the other) and just don’t know how to prevent or defend themselves from a gank in general. Buy wards. Roll Clairvoyance. Watch the minimap. Don’t push the lane. You’re not getting ganked unless their team is TF/Shen/Pantheon/Ashe/x.
At the higher levels people actually complain that ganking is too weak because Flash and Ghost are way too good at shutting them down. Clairvoyance is also becoming more commonplace (I actually played a game where three of us had CV from last game and we had to discuss who should be the one to take it) and well placed CVs are incredibly good at preventing ganks and flanks if you can predict enemy movements.
yep flash and ghost are both a little too good right now. i’m not even 30 yet so i don’t have 21 points in utility so i can’t even imagine what it’s like to have flash on a significantly shorter cooldown, fuck.
edit: especially early game, if you have flash OR ghost you won’t die. characters don’t do any damage, so if you fuck up a gank or something you can just flash out and you’re fine, and they lose their chance to kill you until they’re like level 6-7 as long as you play smart.
plus you can flash skillshots and out of otherwise perfect traps (anviia/karthus walls, veigar aoe stun, flash out of baron’s room, etc.)

Placing wards is so important and prevents ganks. That was one of the things that really improved my game… placing wards in the river. One at top, one or two in the middle, and one near dragon will stop most ganks from happening in the early part of the game. Pushing the lane and taking towers is important but staying alive is even more important. Early game it doesn’t make sense to push to their towers unless you can definitely take down their tower that fast, which most can’t do.
I am thinking of saying fuck it and getting Lux for the lulz.

Or Kayle’s ultimate I remeber one match where a fiddle jumped in on 5 of us and we were burting him down as fast as we could he had to have about 100hp left when the enemy kayle used her ulti on him. It was horrible 
Even if you can, imo it’s not worth making the rest of laning phase harder for yourself. The enemy is going to keep the minion wave as far deep in their own territory as they can, just standing around and getting exp is risky for you… especially if there is a jungler. You can try to gank but the other lanes will ward the bushes as soon as they realize that tower is going down, jungling just doesn’t yield as much exp as laning and your champs might not be any good at jungling…
Unless you can really make things happen with the 250xp/100g from the tower kill or the laning phase is almost over, it’s not worth doing.
I get good laughs from Lux when i see her kill someone with that laser.
Anyway, Ill finally hit lvl 20 tonight and got 10k saved up for runes. A question though, Ive been maining Twitch/Ryze/Nunu (Nunu for the jungle aspect really) a lot lately but how viable are they at high elo games?
You are level 20, why are you worrying about high level ELO? Anyways, Twitch is viable but takes more skill than other ranged DPS at high level. Ryze is pretty much outshined by every other caster at high level. Nunu is a viable jungler, but there are others that outshine him at a higher level.

Meh, played a few games with Lux. Finding her damage output a little disappointing even though her main role is support.
because right now they work out pretty well but i had a feeling that they may not too great at the higher levels. Guess i could read more about it and watch match vids… MEH

what Lux needs is lower cd on her skills.
I think Lux is great for organized team games. She has blind possible 2 holds aoe damage that blinds and a large ranged aoe slow. sort of a mix between anivia and morgana with less damage. If you have a spot for that type of support in your arranged 5 I could definitely see her being fit in to some line ups. Lower CD’s would make her so damn OP lol.
As for the question asked by shawn, I wouldn’t really worry about runes for specific characters yet maybe work on flat hp quints because those are pretty much used by everyone. You are going to probably need at least 2 full rune pages anyway in the end so as long as you buy viable ones shouldn’t go to waste. Chanchi listed a great site a fair amount of pages back that is great for this sort of thing.
I think I can now say with confidence that CDR/MPen Lux is the way to build Lux.
Firing 40% more laser beams > Getting 20% more damage on laser beams. Just throw that shit out whenever you want, it’s on a 24s cooldown.
I quit this piece of shit game. Community makes me want to shoot myself in the head. I’m doing ranked with these 2 retards that complain to each other cause they both want mid and one goes afk and the other one goes into rage and starts helping enemy team by revealing all our positions. Fuck this piece of shit game where I have to depend on some of dumbest people in this planet. Even if SRK does 5v5 we’re not organized enough to win anyway cause of lack of communication. Again fuck this fucking game. Either we play 5v5 seriously or I’ll just uninstall this shit. I can’t play solo anymore.
Lol, I felt the same way for a while. Just take a break from the game for a bit and come back later when you feel like it. A break did wonders for me lol
Alot of people i know dont solo que anymore. To much of a risk to get a bunch of noobs on your team. Duo queing with a good player increases your chances of winning alot. Have one player pick a carry and the other a jungler or support champ. That’s a good way to climb elo or just improve your chances of winning significantly.
I dont play unless I duo que anymore or if i get me and my IRL friends online and we just play normal games.
