AP Yi is overrated

AP yi is limited but fine, he has good burst damage good chase and kill still knock down a tower quick. His heal keeps him in the lane basically forever and he scales well all game long. Now if a certain person is BAD with ap yi I can’t comment.
AP Yi can be done, but it’s not easy.
Looking at the new leaked patch notes, I think it’s hilarious that whoever Elementz posts on his tier list as top gets nerfed in some way, shape or form almost immediately after. The only character who’s consistently placed as top tier who doesn’t get nerfed is Garen.:rolleyes:

I’ve seen the tier list. I was just saying that Garen has been nerfed. Elementz’s tier list is jacked in some places anyways and Riot is stupid if they base their nerfs off of it alone, but the probably do anyways.

Yeah, I don’t think they will ever admit it, but there seems to be a direct correlation between what Elementz posts and what happens in the game. Also, now that the NA team won WCG, Riot is gonna ride his cock even more. It’s funny that Nidalee is placed so low and Hotshot still plays her all the time like the tier list doesn’t even matter.
I like armor pen Yi. I haven’t been very successful building ability power. Armor pen + lifesteal has been working the best for me.
^That’s the best way to play Yi^ He farms so well even if you feed early game. He gets nuked down though so I like to carry cleanse or quick silver sash.
About elementz tier list I really don’t take it as seriously as I used to because I always felt it was a bit off and then with the dramatic change after WCG I just figured you can’t really place a hero at a certain point and say their good because one person does really well. (Like TF). I figure that it’s all part of the meta game in whatever country you are in. BTW I always thought Galio was amazing it’s sad to see him nerfed lol. I recently picked up Akali and she is pubstomp queen!
That tier list is basically pure opinion with a cast this large and with so many variables the best you can do is a “in a few situations this character is better list.” You can’t give it a tier list like a fighting game because 5 are going against 5 and the factors just keep going and going. Any good player can rape with any character they have I promise you. Eve may be tough but I am sure someone can do it. This game hasn’t had a broken character since old school TF so they are doing fine.
