Akali is good in certain team comps against certain team comps. In other words she an awesome character to know for draft mode. She EATS ezreal who will crush your team without a good counter(which there are very few of). I can’t remember how many games i’ve lost because we just got worn down by ez or picked off at the end of the fight. I also can’t remember the number of fights where the fight started, and then suddenly akali/kassasdin was in the back line and EZ was dead. This obviously also applies to other squishies, but EZ is the biggest deal.

They just released Tristana for the week. Went 20 and 5 the first time I played her today. Ranged carries, how do they work?

She’s pretty good from what I’ve seen. To be honest I never bothered using her.
Tried akali for the first time today. She’s okay, went like 16-5. I was doing good but it’s strange, she feels like she is meant to burst down an opponent, but her burst didn’t feel like it did alot. And her slow and pysical attacks didn’t do much either.
She was okay, but I guess just not my cup of tea.
That’s how she is unfortunately.
She’s easy mode ranged carry, but can also gank pretty well due to Rocket Jump cooldown resetting on an assist or kill.

akali can’t burst people who are durable without getting fed, she’s purely to assassinate squishies(unless she gets fed, in which case she does what she wants). Once she gets rilais it’s basically impossible to escape her unless your shaco or kassadin.
My first game with Shaco was jokes. Kinda got carried, but I did decent at juggling and ganking. He is a really fun hero to play.
EDIT: Time to ride Shaco to level 30 and then get ready to play a new hero since he is banned all the time.

Dinger and Shaco got nerfed something fierce.
Dinger can only have 2 turrets max now and his grenade no longer deals damage to towers! 
Shaco’s cooldowns got hit pretty hard, his Shiv bonus damage got decreased from 25% to 20% and placing his Jack-In-The-Boxes now breaks stealth.
Riot is not fucking around at all.
