I enjoyed playing Galio yesterday (first time cause he’s free lol) the only thing I didn’t like was the long cooldown on his spells. I hate waiting on cooldown and feeling useless (mainly why I don’t play veigar very often)

Post-buff Renekton is extremely viable if played right, unfortunately I’ve seen a retarded amount of people continue to play him wrong.
I have yet to do worse than a 4:1 KDR with Renekton since the buff, I was struggling to stay positive in solo queue beforehand. In solo queue he’s still not AMAZING but you can do well, in ranked he’s fantastic.
I’d take Xin over him, sure, but he fills a slightly different role so its whatever.
Any good zoning tips and builds for Sion? I have a tough time playing as him at the beginning and just feeding to the other team. Currently, I’m lvl 9.
Zoning with Sion is basically scaring off with shield and last hitting. If anyone gets out of line then you stun them and you and your partner damage or kill them. Basically you want to scare them early and make sure NOT to push into tower or he can’t stop any farming. So ONLY last hit creeps and try to keep them close to your side while denying them kills with shield harass.
Shield harass does not have to hit them to be effective wait to see when your creeps are getting low then shield and go after them to make them either eat shield/melee strikes, or back off and not get last hits. If they choose to back off you do not have to chase them or stun them save the mana unless you think it could make them either go back or die. At lower levels you do not have the mana regen runes to keep this up forever so it is critical to scare them early so you don’t have to do this every wave.

Also, I’m hype for the treant, but I’m expecting both champion’s skillsets to get nerfed into generic uselessness (see: leaked caitlyn skills vs real)
That Maokai champ sounds interesting. Jarvan looks badass though I must say. I’ve recently fallen in love with a new champion and haven’t touched anyone since… Kog’Maw. This lil’ dude is awesome, not only does he pack a serious punch and have one of the most annoying ulti’s, he’s basically just a troll… his /j is trollololol. He fits my playstyle too a ‘T’.
Dude…if Jarvan keeps his skills the way they are and he has a respectable amount of HP/AD, he’s going to be a ranged dps killer
Zilean is such an incredibly annoying lane. Zilean/Soraka, Zilean/Sona, and Zilean/Shen all make me want to throw my computer out of the window and he is part of what changed my opinion on the character Renekton.
Having said that, I start countering that motherfcker early as shit. If I even think I’m going to end up in his lane (as close ranged character) I’ll get the 400g magic resist item first and some pots. Then I’ll get control of the bushes in my lane and start the waiting/numbers game. I’ll sit there watching his patterns and mana waiting for that split second enough of his cooldowns are screwed for me to get a little damage in. I keep this up till he’s low enough to charge and kill.
Nothing more satisfying than a Zilean first blood.

I been playing Zilean alot recently.
He is one of the best harassers early and mid game.
But he sucks late game.
He goes squish so fast.
AD carries rape his ass so hard late game its not even funny.
He is pretty fun to play tho.
First blooding like crazy with flash and ignite.
When i play zil, i pack him with EXP quints and the EXP util… nothing like a 19% bonus!
The only thing more satisfying than first blooding Zilean is getting FB on a super hungry Akali/GP lane and then buying an oracle and waiting for Akali to throw her shroud down and sit in it for another kill.
Also I heard someone put some LoL match Recorder program together. I’m gonna see about getting it to work and posting some of my matches for some critique that could hopefully step my game up.
I build Zilean like a nunu build, AP/Tank. Because I troll people so hard they hit the boiling point, and there’s either two choices after that- they focus me, which isn’t a big deal because I’m a tank and I’m a support which means my team is busy fucking them up, or they ragequit the match. Shit like Frozen Heart, Aegis, Banshees… after I get my early game cooldown boots and nuking item of choice.
Also, I don’t think I’ll ever play another match without AT LEAST the exp utility mastery, that’s the best fucking mastery out of the trees anyway. So gdlk. If you skip it, you fail.
Zilean is such garbage. Most people when they get hit with his bomb run away when really the right response is to run zilean down. If zilean has to run everytime he throws a bomb on you then he is losing creep kills not you. Late game Zilean is one of the worst characters in this game. Speed isnt that important with all the ghosts and ghost blades and other speed stats riot puts in this game. Also his ult doesn’t make up for how shitty he is in team fights. Very few times does his ult help during the first engagement of a team fight.
Moakai is up on the forums. He seems interesting.
