Locations of Arcades

aw man, heading out to D.C. for a week (on monday) was hoping for an arcade close by

Golden Dome at Beltway Plaza is about it.

I haven’t been there for a while but they had a number of decent machines, T5 and MvC2 being the only ones there were getting play at the time. As a bonus, it’s something of a throwback with the dim lighting and multiple Capcom/SNK fighters, not your typical mall arcade.

I’ll have to stop through there some time and take an updated inventory.

That arecade will never be the Golden Dome. The original GD was located in the parking lot where the Funcoland/Gamestop is at now. Damn those were the days. I was there two weeks ago and they have T5:DR, CVS1 and 2 and MVC2.

I know, blasphemy right.

I just call it that because of the location association and the fact that it rolls off the tongue a lot easier than “Beltway Plaza Arcade” or whatever the place is actually called.

Does anyone know if they have SFIV cabinets in the New Roc City arcade in New Rochelle, NY?

Are there any good arcades in virginia beach? I’ll be there over the weekend

there is not any good ones no, there is flipper mccoys, they have a marvel cab, but if you will be down this way post up in the VA thread, I am sure someone will put together a session this weekend…

because of the holiday i am sure we won’t have the typical weekly, but there will be something, or just post up im sure people will meet up if you wanna play marvel.

anyone know of any arcades in Rehoboth? Parents have a beach house there and I go a few times a year but Ive never been to an arcade there that had any decent machines.

From what I remember when I went to Rehoboth and Bethany last year, most of the arcades don’t have fighting games. They MIGHT have MvC2 or T5 if you look hard enough, but I remember being disappointed. They have Guitar Hero, but no Street Fighter?!

last time I was there the only cabinet I could find was UMK3 at a pool hall in midway. I havnt checked out any of the boardwalk arcades since SF4 came out though, you would think at least 1 of them would have it.

There’s an arcade in Greenbelt Mall.

CvS2
CvS1
Tekken 5 DR
Tekken 3
Marvel vs Capcom 2

Voice your opinion tot he corporate office about getting more fighting games there.

theres an arcade there. It’s a useless, waste of time with no fighting games at all, but it’s still technically an arcade. If youre really desperate to play a decent game, there’s a skating rink about 20-30 minutes away from Potomac Mills with a Tekken 3 machine. GOD! isn’t NoVA just the best?

anyone still go there? i’m lookin to get back into marvel but that online shit is killin me… that and i dont own a console. if the competition is still vibin i’m all down for headin out that way.

also is the greenbelt mall the same shit as the beltway plaza?

the mall is the plaza

nah, no one goes. Last arcade in maryland, keep it alive

Yep, that’s it. TO be honest, they don’t listen to people anyway. Sticks break in there and they stay broke for a long ass time. Back in the day they were pretty good about getting fighting games but now…:shake:

Steve Harrison says, “Try, we need an arcade.”

NYC Brooklyn Bay Parkway W9 (a block from N train Bay Parkway station).

MvC2, although the sticks aren’t as good as CF.

Does anybody go to the Tilt in Tarentum, PA? I found it on arcadefly, but supposedly some of the machines are broken.

As of 2/24/09, they had marvel. Still the case?

wheres good 3s in NYC?

i went to china town fair and the sticks for 3s were shit.

CTF is pretty much all there is for 3s.
