LMAO @ Warner Bros using the patchless system to advertise

Unfortunately, I don’t have a pic, but when I was playing on The Roof(Day) the billboard had a Hangover Part 2 poster. Check it out :stuck_out_tongue:

Nothing on my end, but it could be a regional thing, advertising rights in Canada, etc.

Well played nrs

all i see is NINJA MIME! hes silent but deadly!

It’s on the street stage too. I’ll try n get a pic up later or sooner just to show those who can’t see it.

Wonder if WB gave them just a little cash for doing it, lol.

Bad quality, but there.

Not even gonna lie:

thats genius. make that dollar. lol

Gave who cash, themselves? Did you not notice the big WB tower in the beginning of the game

Ninja Mime is way better than Hangover 2!

I’d take any Cage flick over the Hangover 2.

first one was great. no way they can recreate that success again.

This isn’t unheard of in gaming. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars did the same thing with the billboards. No one really paid attention to the billboards and just kept playing.

I think the idea is genius. Certainly a non-intrusive way of making some extra dough throughout the lifespan of this game without solely relying on DLC. Who knows, maybe because of this, NRS won’t see fit to bleed $5 per new character from us like Capcom.

I agree wholeheartedly. It’s certainly better than the few games that plaster adds in the game menus, or force you to watch video adds before starting a match.

I bet my friend Mr. Galifianakis will find this awesome. I’ll have to send it to him.

I was in Wal-Mart last month, and they were selling a Hangover shirt with him on the front of it. Sent him a picture of it, and he responded with “Oh man, I’ve made the big time now, my face is in Wal-Mart”, haha.

They are back up again.

I wouldnt mind this kind of thing myself, they tried to do it in Quake Live too, but that was there to solely pay for keeping the game running.
