As far as I understand it, we discuss fighting games here and last time I checked this wasn’t every members personal web blog where we advertise our shitty streams.
So if you have nothing better to say, then why even bother posting?
If attention is all you seek, then you have won the prize.
Last time I checked, streaming FIGHTING GAMES and DISCUSSING them via stream was fine. Oh, and by the way, who are you anyway? This is a COMMUNITY, so therefore I do whatever it takes to SUPPORT that community.
If all you want to do is belittle others through this online persona you’ve created, then congrats for your hard work. But I’ll continue supporting this scene in a positive way.
He’s right, you’re just advertising your twitch feed. I don’t see how that helps the community, since there are loads of people streaming fighters on Twitch already, and it’s no secret that they are there.
It’s annoying when people try to use a community forum to get views for their channel, and then turn around and say that it’s for the good of the community. If you want to bring people to your channel, be a part of the community as it was intended(for fighting game discussions), and people will see the link to your channel in your sig and check it out if they think you know what you’re talking about.
I haven’t checked the rules for all this, that’s just my take on the situation.
