The content is anything the user decides to make. You could make a racer if you really wanted to or a puzzle based level.
At it’s core the game focuses on platforming and it excels at it. The sackboys don’t have much variety in moves. Besides running, jumping, and grabbing onto something the Sackboys can move their heads, emoting, and moving their arms but their stationery when they do this.
I can’t WAIT to finally get my hands on LBP on Tuesday! It’s been absolute torture ever since the beta ended; I’ve got all these ideas for levels floating around in my head, and no little Sackboys to try them out on!
It’s a Day One purchase for me; I’ll be there at midnight on the 21st to pick it up (assuming I can find a store near me that’s doing a midnight launch).
The Kratos costume was pretty cool, but now that GameStop has upped the LBP pre-order to that full GoW pack with the 3 costumes and the level, it’s definitely the best of the bunch. Plus you might be able to get your game at midnight on the 21st; I looked into it, and some of the GameStops aren’t doing a midnight launch for LBP, but they ARE doing one for Fable 2, and if you ask them, they’ll sell you the LBP copy if you’re there.
While I REALLY wish the delay had been caught earlier in the production process, like it should have been, I’m glad Sony’s doing the right thing - and I’m REALLY glad it’s only a one week delay. If it had been something serious, like having LBP delayed to '09 or something, I would have been majorly upset, but a one week delay, I can handle.
Not well - I’m watching LBP YouTube videos non-stop to control the cravings, and I’ll be calling my local store every hour next week until the game arrives - but I’m handling it. :looney:
