I regret making this thread. I just wanted a place to play with people at the time but honestly…the drive to RTSD/AI is worth it if it mean not having to deal with bad setups and management. Ick.

It’s directly downstairs of where Hi-Tech 21 was. That turned into some Kyokugen Karate / Kendo dojo. I don’t feel as though theres any lag on the SF4 Cabinets, but I could be wrong, check it out one day. I’ll probably be there after 4 on Thursday, some time on Friday, and before 4 on Sunday.
once the fall semester starts i’ll be going to AI less and less,
i’ll probably check out the little tokyo arcade since it’s way closer to me
I hated this place. I really did. I used to go there regularly to build points on my Initial D card, since it was in between work and home. The fighters always seemed to have at least one thing wrong with them, and the guy behind the counter seems reluctant to give any kind of parking validation no matter how much you’ve spent there.
But at this place I did hear some 16 year old loudly proclaim “Of course I race on the street! That’s how you learn to race for real!”
Any purchase at the Market in the mall gets you validated for 2 hours, even like a 1 dollar soda.
So, when are the times that people drop by this place. I’m down to go check it out on the way home from work in Downtown…

parking is free for one hour in japan arcade

Correction, parking is free for 2 hours at Japan arcade if you buy anything from the market. And street parking is free after 6 and on Sunday.

Just went to Family Arcade, real close to my workin place since i work in Silverlake. Hot damn sf4 costs so much. GG to the marvel players out there…
