Linking Help for Beginners

The thing I’m finding most difficult in KOFXIII is linking attacks together, I find it easy to cancel and pull off specials without a hitch but I always have trouble linking together basic attacks. One of the biggest problems I’m having is linking a LP into HP (especially with Iori), I know you need to do it as soon as the animation for LP has finished connecting but I’m always too fast or too slow.

Basically… what do?

You really don’t need any links with Iori. His basic crouching hit-confirm is either c.B c.A/s.A f+A or c.B cl.B f+A. The normal should cancel into his command normal, which then cancels into specials.

In fact, links are far less prevalent in KOF XIII then they are in SF4. The characters I can think of that really benefit from links are Ryo and Yuri, with their c.B c.C link.
