Fortune Cookie combos after :hp: or :mp: and that can combo into her RD punch, but the timing is slightly strict. However, Fortune Cookie on block isn’t bad, if you got through with the full 3 hits, you should get hit far enough away that only far hits, usually sweeps, will hit. If you only do the first hit, she can do Cali roll to roll past them if they try attacking or she can go into a grab which is fast from there.

I think for her super art it would be smarter to go with the combo Jamps put above since that does well over 500 damage, minus the heavy beginning it still does more. However, I really like the link between the :mp: to Phoenix talon, I didn’t think of that for an extra hit, nice video, I would do some but IDK how to record videos like that.

I’ve been doing st.mp xx phoenix stance xx qcf+hk, but i’m sure there’s better options haha
wave crest (P during phoenix stance) seems quite strong. For instance j.hp, hp, hp fortune cookie, mistrust + dark and stormy (back pp), wave crest, mp, storming flower (qcf lp) does about 393 where as ending the same chain with phoenix talon (qcf k during phoenix stance) does ~367.
you avoid a bit of scaling as wave crest and storming flower are both 1 hit.
If you tag cancel her in and they are still grounded you should do :hp: xx RD, :p::p: down down into AOP, :p:, and then you can do her super art or phoenix talon, that is probably her strongest combo thus far.

:hp: -> :p::p::p: -> :p: -> :mp: -> :p::p::p: -> qcf + :hk: = 313, anywhere on screen. not sure about airborne but rain stance + k is looking useful for that.
my xiayou is not using meter, instead building meter to tag in my second character. so i dont really get big damage however, ending these strings in wave crest give you a relatively safe ender. not toally though.
lp lp c.mk xx aop+p mp xx AOP+qcf+k. 280ish no meter

you can confirm up to 3 jabs inti c.mk into chained launcher, however that of course is quite risky.

Ah my combo leading into my tag to xiao always leaves them airborne I think Will have to mess around with more stuff for that. I’ll post if I find anything good. Also, the fuck is up with Xiaoyu’s english VA? LOL

I like the combo video xP The only thing I have to say with Xiaoyu, is that it seems since most of her combos rely on the same tactic, it seems like the 423 combo is the only one we should currently use. However, does it work out of the corner? I only ask since you did it the corner? xP
the 423 combo doesnt work out of the corner. but you can get 402 midscreen

Two questions just to get a better understanding. 1) for crouching LP LP MK, is that all crouching or just the LP? 2) do you mean triple punch stance instead of kick stance?
Yeah the :lp: :lp: :mk: is all crouching and you can hit confirm into punch stance OR kick stance. Punch stance into Wave Crest is more ideal since if you miss your execution its still safe on block.
I should check it when i get home, but if she is tagging in, s.:mp:, :d::3p:(AOP), :p:, s.:mp: :d::3p:, :dp::hk: might work
I like everything im seeing here and im really feeling this character…but you guys gota put inputs i agree esp for those of us who are tekken dumb and dont know the move names lol. Im assuming most of the stuff you are doing are links…sorry lol lovin the videos though very helpful.
I havent been seeing people mentioning this but her st strong is really good if you hit it you can go into kick stance do he move that brings you into p stance launch then from there do st forward st strong and u can go into any stance if p stance you can do upper and tag in ifyou want or you can go into k stance do 2 kicks and tag . that combo off of footsies does a good ammount of damage w/o any meter use
