you just have to dash in deep. you actually get a decent amount of time after lili’s bounds, so you should have time to dash right up next to them then 323. I guess it just takes some practice. alhough in my experience, it’s harder to get the last hit off of a f1+2 bound for some combos, it’s pretty consistent with d/f 3
UGH, why’s this thread so dead?
Been playing T6 a lot recently and I gravitated to Lili right away, she perfectly matches my playstyle!
So what are some basic strats as far as Lili goes? What are some good character specific strats? How do you guys like to play Lili?
I usually run a straight offensive powerhouse as Lili. She has some 50/50’s and can launch ridiculous combos off of highs or lows. Add her speed into the equation and she’s an absolute force provided you have knowledge of her hitboxes and frames. Her punishing ability is awesome as well given qcf 1, 2. Defensively, she doesn’t work as well for me. 2, 4 is a nice interrupt and is pretty quick, but besides that I don’t know many other moves that punish quick enough.
What lows are you talking about? You mean her db4 that you can see a mile away and can launch punish for 1/2 her life at least? There really are not many frames to memorize with her, as far as her punishment goes it is amazing…
What makes lili so good is her mids and throw ozikemi as well as her wall game. Against the wall ONE mistake leads to lili doing at least 90 damage. So one wall carry + 1 successful mixup against the wall can lead to the W.
Also QCF 1,2 is unsafe and you can be punished for it by 12f punishers, luckily most of the cast cannot get much off of a 12f punish but it’s still damage done to you.
You need to dash deep for it to connect. In most situations especially in endless stages you want to spike your opponent though for ozikemi mixups. The only time i would go for 3,2,3 is when i know it will W! or if it will kill them. Otherwise df+34 > 34/12 are better enders for her B! combos.
Pretty much. Yeah, it’s slow, but the damage potential of it makes it valuable as a punish, or useful as a counter hit against laggy, predictable highs.

bdc~d3+4, ss~d3+4, ff~d3+4, d3+4.
Half-joking aside.
For me, Lili is a juggling and oki oriented character (i.e “a bitch”) the way I play is I turtle, space and launch any mistake my opponent does. Once they start turtling I start being bit aggressive with the 1281591 mid launchers Lili has mix with ff4 and d3 as my main lows. With the random throw here and there too keep them on their toes.
qcf12 is -14, mishimas, lars, julia, paul, bryan can launch punish this move. The first move should be no more than -12. The hit-confirm window is around is the same as julia’s 4~2,1 hit confirm.
I use db4 more for its crushing properties (i.e defensive move) that actually being aggressive with it. It will have some uses when you can crush down jabs with it.
Hm…
I see a lotta people juggle with 3,2 - 1 - 3,2,3
Can you do that after B!?
I’ve seen that too, can’t seem to get it to land though no matter how deep I dash in. It would help my wall carries a lot if I could do it, but after 32 the next move just never connects…
I’m pretty sure that is only doable at t6.0
if not, you have to be off axis to the right for it to connect IIRC.
Yikes! I hope you don’t play pitbull with Lili on the regular. She’s still stagnant with some of her moves not exactly making her the ideal character for playing rush-down. Plus a lot of her moves are still linear like her DR counter-part making her side-steppable.
I have to agree with uui. Lili’s a character you’re better off playing turtling and baiting out whiffs then punish. Yes, you’ll get the itch to just go in and try and rush, but playing keep-away will reward you better. Simply turtle, bait whiff, then. . .BOOM!, hopkick!!!
As for QCF+1, 2 it’s unsafe for the most part on block. I prefer to use it during a juggle to get my opponent to splat into a wall and then quickly dash up and get a B! move into delayed cart-wheel.
noob question here, what move is usually use for her oki
ff4, df3+4, d3, df3_f1+2
I can’t beat Alisa at all… any tips for a average Lili tekken player?
What options you Lili players like to use after DF+3 on block to keep the pressure going? I like to throw a occasional jab, DF+1 or D+2, but that’s all I can think of. I’m thinking I should use the backflip to get more space to make them whiff, but not sure how safe that flip is to 1 or 4. Not at home at the moment to try this out.
