Tried to brush the rust off in VF5 yesterday. Man Akira is still sooooo nice. So proud he’s been my main for over almost 10 years.
I tried foolin around with Pai too. Comboing with her is kinda interesting. But it seems she’s got some pretty solid mix-ups and back turn fun.
I can’t figure out how to launch with Lau for the life of me. Or figure out any solid combos with him. 
Maybe I’ll stick to Pai. :bluu:

Figure out combos? There is no need for that when you can look them up.
And Lau’s combos are easy mode, dude.
i dunno why, but i can’t seem to find any good vf5 match vids/combo vids on youtube.

And if you want VF5 ver. C vids then watch the replays on your X360 VF5 DVD. You can turn on the players’ inputs as well.
If you search by date added, you won’t be flooded with FS or R videos, because it’s not possible for those videos to be uploaded from 07 to mid 08.

thanks both of you. hella info here. man i’ma have a blast peelin through this stuff. i played a ton of vf4: evo (by myself vs. the computer lol). vf5 is seriously growing on me, i used to HATE this VF. :razz: it’s just a tad slower than 4evo…but i’ll get over it.

so version c. has gameplay changes from version b. i have the ps3 version (don’t own a 360). how drastic are these changes?
Ver. B and Ver. C combos should work between both…shouldn’t hurt to test them though.
Some ver. C combos do not work in ver B. for various reasons.

^ I just got back from a 9 hour trip bringing family down here to live with us. We’re getting her adjusted, as well as ourselves so that’s going to have to wait. I want to play badly, though.

Tried fucking with Lau the other day after watching some FS videos and man is he dry in Vanilla. I guess I’ll stick with El Blaze and Kage with a bit o’ Jacky. Probably be on tomorrow night if anyone wants some free wins.
