hey, major props/thanks to the old-school marvel player that was playing hayato/bbhood/??? on his work break, that was my first time ever playing marvel and after playing it for like an hour later i found it to be really fun and i think i might get into it a little more, really awesome
also i realized what was wrong with the VF5 cab…hahaha…playing on that gave me a pretty good laugh…
here’s to hoping that 1. sf4 makes it to gameworks and 2. 2p side forward and roundhouse get fixed on 3s :V
hahah i perfected someone there on that side with one hand because of the auto roundhouse. since 1p was pretty much activating my RH, he would jump in and i would lightning kick anti air him. then i’d crouch block and random sweep him. so i thought, “what the hell” and i did qcf, qcf, and boom! SA2 xx sj cancel RH. FTW! hahahaha fucked up, but man, i was at a disadvantage.
I emailed GW about getting SFIV and T6. Hopefully other people did too. I noted that they would be the only place in Seattle with both of those cabinets so hopefully that was enough to convince them lol.
Thanks for the shoutout bro.
Once again I’d like to reiterate for the folks that keep asking me about SF4…
An email from you + Guestrelations@gameworks.com + " I want SF4 at Seattle Gameworks" = Street fighter 4 at fucking gameworks!
It’s up to you guys out there to e-mail yous asses off. Personally I’ve created 4 fake e-mail addreses on yahoo just to make it look like more people want the game. If you guys don’t help we’re going to get yet another driving game or some new incarnation of area 51.
Update. Recieved our new Marvel Sticks today (8/18) and will have them in the game either today or tomorrow.
Marvel Sticks installed!
Also a fresh batch of switches the whole game over.
I had Dvaz give em a test run and he gave it a thumbs up. If you’re a marvel player come on down and give 'em a go and let me know if there’s anything I can do to improve upon them.
I been busy at work trying to learn a bunch of shit that come counter-nature to me. Such is life.
I have to upgrade my apartment then I’ll have another gaming session here in lower Queen Anne. Won’t be Tekken exclusive so I hope a lot of peeps come.
Anyway, hope shit is keep on keepin on…gimmie a call whenever is clever.
So far I’ve sent GW two emails to get SFIV. Now that Narrows has it, plenty of people are interested in going there to play it. Hopefully this motivates GW to get the game. There are plenty of people that don’t wanna drive all the way to Tacoma to play the game.
fwiw, some time ago i emailed gw regarding T6 and SF4, even asked for that new 3d samsho, aha…bleh. wish the vf5 cab was up to snuff…don’t play a thing anymore though, so meh. :shrugs:
matt, did you leave GW? haven’t seen you there the few times i’ve dropped in.
The MvC2 P1 start button seems like the spring itself (not the switch) is mismounted or dying. Works fine, just getting crunchy.
The MvC2 P2 joystick could use some sanding.
3S seemed fine when I brought out Q.
There was a bunch of girls playing Samurai Shodown. :wtf:
Watching some guys mash tonight, I’m impressed ANY machine at Gameworks still works. Good work game techs.
The trick(?) to Kick It (the soccer game) is to just kick it to within a foot or two of the very center of the target box. Kind of a dumb game with random physics, but that’s what I was seeing when I played it tonight.
Thanks for the info, I’ll get crackin’ on it A.S.A.P.
Also, we FINALLY got our new games announced from home office. I hope you’re alone when you read this so you don’t cry in public…
SEGA Race TV 2 (2 cabs)
Primeval Hunt (1 cab)
Ya…Like Gameworks needed MORE driving and dinosaur games.
The wild thing is they’re sending these games to EVERY LOCATION. WTF?! Please guys send more e-mails! If I have to recieve and set up another “Ghost Squad” I’m going to puke.
For the (zero) people that are interested our crappy new games are up and running. I also spammed the shit out of the home office e-mail box about SF4 from the office computer. I’m not giving up just yet.
