thursdays at gameworks
i have been in a few times on thurday and did ok. i was beating the guys that work there… tall mechanic guy plays hugo… short asian dude plays with ken… anyways i will try and show somtime. i play the black urien all day! c u thursday

Infinite thank yous on the price changes, seriously. Freaking awesome. I can see there being gw outings on non-thursday nights now as well. I don’t know how many people are down for A3, but I certainly am. Now if we can just get an st/cvs2 cab, gw will be where it’s at.
I was incredibly stoked to see the turnout last night. The 3s rotation was the biggest I’ve seen it since over a year ago.
Whoever that elena/chun player is that was doing hella good needs to be there every week to show scrubs how it’s done.
Props to Jason, ltb, josh rey, mechanica, and anyone else I got to play last night.
There were some new faces, don’t know if they will show up again. Their style was a little out there though (SAI ken wtf?) but they weren’t terrible.
Julian you should totally hop on the 3s bandwagon. If you don’t make it to gw or simply don’t want to, then maybe we can get some games in at zach’s next time?
I liked when he played Elena but god damn I get tired of Chun, she’s so boring that I had more fun playing Zach in Marvel. Hahah, Zach doesn’t go easy mode on me but he doesn’t go beast mode either. 
That’s just a personal problem. I had fun anyway but I just… detest Chun. Ken’s not much better but at least he doesn’t have a 2,000 frame opening to cancel into a super that takes half your life, eh? Haha.
He’s certainly welcome at my place when I host something. It’s my birthday weekend so all my friends want to see me this weekend but soon… soon… Just someone bring another stick and one of my two TVs will be dedicated to 3s and 3s only. The other TV can be debatable.
I’ve got some free +$10 coupons when you spend at least $10 for gameworks that I got at PAX (could share a few I think) if that’s any additional incentive to start having some people come on days that aren’t thursday.

DC version of 3s is the worst. If you have to make a decision it’s
dc<xbox<ps2<arcade
There are some minor differences between ps2 and arcade, and many (including me) will tell you that the ps2 version runs faster.
The xbox version runs even faster, and has some other issues.
The dc version has serious problems and delay/input lag issues. Avoid this one at all costs.
As for your converter question, I don’t think it’s looking good. PS2/DC converters seem to be scarce in the scene as a whole.
Edit: I will get you a copy of SFAC for ps2 if you need one.
I personally play it on a scratched xbox disc with a magicbox convertor. 
Justin has the PS2 version though.

How much does it cost to play on thursday nights? Also, how often would I get to play VF5, isn’t the place packed?
VF5 has had people there pretty often, but I don’t think many people have noticed it yet so there’s not much of a line.
