For those that haven’t been following the drama, Preppy ordered a 3s board some time ago and hasn’t received it yet. The dude from South America probably just took the money and ran. Last Friday night saw the following exchange.

The latest news (we’re talking via email now) is that it’s being sent This Week.
The boards were evidently bought from Mexico, sent to Argentina, and then rebatteried in Connecticut. Which is where I should have been last weekend and could have picked it up in person, but let’s ignore that because I already find this three month wait annoying.
So. That’s about all I know right now.
I’m generally pretty trusting and easy-going, but I am admittedly extremely annoyed here.

I’ll try and get to gameworks this coming Thursday, then! I’m going to be living down the street from MS-- I should be able to just grab a bus there, right?

We got some pretty good 3s comp…like my nig Pablo The Mex and his BOPNASTY ASS Hugo! FTW!!!
I’m sick as hell so I prolly won’t make GW thursday, (and possibly Zach’s Friday :() but if the 3s sticks are in good shape I’m down to play there most evenings if anyone puts up advance notice of going.

Anyway, to Stuart, I probably still have one more week off, so I could show up some time next week for 3S at Game Trax. Let me know when would be good.
And to Psychoprog, I also live around the MS campus, but work at Nintendo. To get to Gameworks, simply take the Sound Transit 545 to Seattle at Overlake Transit Center or the NE 40th freeway stop. Then get off at Pike or Pine and walk two blocks. I’ll be taking that bus at about 6:30-7:00p.m. tonight.
