at the uw hub, the sticks/buttons manage to break every two weeks. people migrate to the inside cabs… then slowly stop coming.

All due respect to Nate, he is my friend too afterall, it shouldn’t be a matter of what games HE cares about. S’not right to be put in a position of power and take blatant libirties with it. If I decided that I didn’t “care much” about certain speeds of DSL and I paid those installs less attention tahn others then I’d be a terrible representative of my company. Sure the scales are different but the point is the same: you do what you’re supposed to. If Nate can be like that then (as far as work is concerned) I can start looking at him the same way I look at Gameworks as a whole: The only reason that they’re there is for the money. 
Nate’s NOT a bad guy but he shouldn’t be taking things personally.

If I were him, I would do it just so that people continue to show up. America’s arcade scene may be nonexistant but nothing beats the kinda of social environment a place like GW brings. Drunk people, and drunk people that play video games in the same place. I would hella go back if the sticks and stuff worked.

Gonna be interning at Microsoft for the summer, wanted to check out the scene and ask about the arcades, etc. I’m mostly interested in the 3s scene (scrubby Dudley here), but I’m told you guys are bigger on marvel? Never played marvel but I can learn.
I just wanna play some games.
I’m really trying to get a Third Strike board. :sad: It should be here Real Soon Now.
Thursdays at GAMEWORKS, every other Friday at my place, and then wherever you can find at other times. Julien Beasley (zazz?), Chris Z (icenine), and I (zachd) all work at MS too. Julien just got a couple more boards for his house cabinet, fwiw… :tup:
