Good games tonight, Abel mirror matches are hella fun! I just hope that all that talk about Gameworks increasing the price-per-match on SF4 was unconfirmed (although because I am a sucker I will probably still go there to avoid the long drive to Tacoma, haha.)
Word has it that the SFIV cab at Gworks will no longer accept time cards. This is merely a rumor, but that’s what a Gworks employee told me earlier today. So if it is true, enjoy abusing the time cards while you can! Very lame if true. =P

I suppose it’s understandable from a business standpoint. The game is very expensive, and Gworks wants to make max profits. I for one am guilty of abusing time cards with this game…I usually split a 3 hour card between three of my friends, and we keep pumping the cabinet with credits. Still lame though!
If it’s true and it sounded like it was, they need to fix the sticks.

Gross, but like I said before, I just fucking knew they would do it eventually. The game is too much of an investment and GW is too much of a profit whore.
Anyway ggs tonight. I think I’m finally starting to understand how crossup and throw distances work. I didn’t see anything wrong with the sticks, but I didn’t get to play on the right side so who knows.
I still would’ve gotten beat regardless of stick conditions, but it seemed to me that going from downback to foward was harder. I was getting d/b to d/f easy tho’…
the rumors are truw. the GM wants it 2.00, but ive heard 1.50… thats gay. and the no time cards… wow…honestly, they can see what was swiped. and for the a game that cost a lot of money and draws that many people, im not surprised they dont check. so… narrows monday? ;D
