Oh by the way, I am up for the Guilty Gear XX Slash side tourny, also $5 dollar entry fee isn’t a bad idea imo.
I’d like to know who else will be entering Slash, I hope I am not the only one~ I’d love to have a side tourny of it happening. 
Ray: Even if a side tourny of Slash doesn’t happen, will Slash also be on freeplay? Or just the main tournies?

The number of people wanting to play Slash determines if it will be a side Tourny or not. Any game that is put on freeplay will be part of the $10 entry fee. If you don’t pay the entry fee you can’t play the free games.

Oh I see. If a Slash side tourny happens, do we need to pay the 10 dollar entry fee? In case I don’t enter any other tournies? (Since slash wouldn’t be on freeplay I think?). My confidence in CvS2 and 3s isn’t very high, as my main game is still Guilty Gear.
I very very very rarely enter any tournies other than GG haha, I’ll be there anyways hoping for some GG~

Well Furix, I for one would love to play Guilty Gear even though I play the wrong version (due to the tragic end of my flip-top preventing me from playing Slash). In either case from Raymondville there is Me, Dylon and Beef able to play on stick, the rest are unfortunately pad players and would sooner waste their money on my “Buy DOOM a Hooker” fund than spending it to lose at a tournament.
I for one don’t mind that one bit. So yes I would like an approximate number of people who would be willing to join Slash if I would even consider going. Or better yet I would at the very least like confirmation on whether Slash would be put on free play even if there is no tourney for it.
I would gladly pay 10$ to huddle around an undeservingly small arcade cabinet losing several matches in a game I tolerate to the same guy for hours.
Granted I would prefer the hooker…

Hey Mr. McDoom, I would love to know how many people are joining any of the events on Saturday. Unfortunatly only a few people have posted what they will be playing. So it is a hit or miss who shows and who plays what. As far as FREEPLAY goes, anyone who pays the $10 Entry fee is able to play free games all day from 12 Noon-Tourny’s End.
The games that will be on FREEPLAY are:
Marvel vs Capcom 2
Capcom vs SNK 2
Street Fighter 3 Third Strike
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo
Ultimate Mortal kombat III
Guilty Gear Slash
Like I said anyone who pays the $10 Entry Fee is able to play these games regardless if they play in the Tourny or not. Just remember you are not going to park your butt in front of any game and play all day long without letting others play, or you will be asked to leave with NO REFUND.
Also once a certain event begins only Tourny players may play on that machine until the Event is over, NO EXCEPTIONS.
So let’s make this Tourny a success so we can keep on having them.

Yeah Doom don’t worry about it my PS2 can’t read my swap magic any more either. Most of my Slash practice comes from the Arcade and what I remember from when I used to play Slash, I only really practice AC too lol.
But yeah I’ll be there and pay the 10 dollar tourny fee. Might enter 3s if there’s no GG tourny, but otherwise I’ll just be there for the free play haha. If anything I’ll have CvS2, 3s, and Slash casuals.
