The SSF4 announcer has been my favorite by far, I really like how raw and into it he sounds. The others all sound so wimpy in comparison to the growls from SSF4.
With all you people saying we need Yipes to be the announcer in this game, which needs to happen. I think everyone can agree that Chris Hu should be the announcer for the next Street Fighter lmao.

Gotta be honest here, I’ve never kept up with who narrates what at tournaments but I can say from watching matches that none of them are fantastic and I’ll bet everyone except the 2000-3000 people who keep up with it will get and even then some of those will get sick of it.
Stick to the over the top stuff done by professionals.

I just wanna repeat how much i loved the MvC2 announcer. he had the over the top stuff without sounding like he was trying too hard. he was cool and epic.
i also liked how he taunted/complimented you on the character select screen.

Uh, I liked the MvC2 announcer because he was chill, cool, and made you want to finish em off with a Hyper Combo for that last sexily pronounced line. Hyper Combo Finishhhh…Oh yeah…
Next to that is SF4’s. I like announcers that sound like they WOULD be commentating on a fight. A street fight, anyway.
In MvC3’s case…Oh god I just had the thought of Frank West announcing.

I agree with Yipes though. Having him in the game shouting classic Marvel memes would be loltastic.
The MvC2 announcer was a huge jerk, I never liked him. “Heh, that’s what I expected” when I pick a character, and he doesn’t even say “please select your character”, not to mention he says “hey, hurry up!” when you’re running low on time.
Jeez, what an ass.
Stop being so slow and he’ll be more chill about it. 
I swear every time he said any of the combo counter lines I felt like I was getting taken for a jazzy ride. In combination with the music of course.

We NEED an announcer like the MvC1, MsvSF, CvS2,SFA3 and SSB announcers.
I just get so hyped playing MSHvSF, I still play these games for the presentation alone and MSHvSF specifically to hear an american say “SHINKU TATSUMAKI SENPUKYAKU!!” So awesome.
This right here. The SSF4 announcer rules. I enjoy serious, ‘deep voiced’ announcers like this one and the one in Tekken 4. Hopefully MvC3 will go that route, but I highly doubt that.
SSFIV announcer sounds like a KI reject (I half expect him to shout “ULTRA COMBO!” whenever someone does an Ultra and “C-C-C-Combo Breaker” whenever someone mashes DP out of a blockstring.) CvS2 announcer was the hype!
I just want the announcer to be discreet (or at least an option to mute him in case he’s not).
