Collaboration thread!

ITT request collaborations, or post WIPs for others to complete, or showcase finished collabs.

I’ll start by requesting rough sketches or rough drafts, digital or traditional, so I can color them digitally. Post here or PM me, thanks. I’ll post a couple of completed collabs I’ve done in my next post.

The first is of Vanessa from KoF, with Adell from Disgaea 2. I got the idea to pair them because they have similar character designs.

The second is just some girl, but if the colored version looks like Kanae from Akatsuki Blitzkampf then it’s no coincidence.

Thanks hehe I just called it a WIP because I wanted to try adding fire and secondary light source. I think I’m done now though.

Here’s a bunch of chibi fanart I’ve drawn and don’t plan on coloring. Not sure if anyone wants to color that kind of stuff hehe, but if so I have higher res versions of any of them so lemme know.

If anyone wants to color it, feel free. If you don’t know who she is it doesn’t matter, I don’t think she has any pre-defined established colors anyway.

I’ll give it a shot. I don’t know how to color, but I think I can fake my way through it. Results to be posted after I’m done [but of course]. Nice linework, by the way.

If you’re using Photoshop you can :

  • Create new layer. (ctrl+shft+n)
  • ctrl+alt+2 (selects white)
  • ctrl+shift+i (invert selection)
  • alt+backspace (fill selection)

That will replicate the linework on a new layer, allowing you to paint under the lines. Essentially deleting the white so you can color under the lines.

If you’re not using Photoshop you can ghetto it by setting the layer blending mode to multiply, and making a new normal layer under it. But that’s ghetto.

In either case you can also just paint over it, but under-painting is handy for flats and background.

Here’s a shot. Looks like my magic eraser isn’t as nifty as I was hoping it to be [white jaggies]. Also, I thought she looked like my favorite geek Velma, so I went about using those colors.

Note: Shadow doesn’t make sense. Her arm is showing, yet her arm is still in the dark [color-wise]. Dun dun dunnn!
