Probably gonna play Guilty Gear until all the first day server bullshit problems are sorted out 2 month later.
They got priority system in the game where if 2 moves would trade, the heavier move wins, so I guess based on that you can assume there’s gonna be a bit of frame trapping.
Trials, Story, compare and contrast how far I can get in ranked with a buttonsy rushdown playstyle vs a patient block-and-punish playstyle. The former will probably earn me a cameo in @Alexisdabomb 's “This is how you DON’T play SFV” montage.
Do as many trials as possible with all characters, fail miserably near the end as advanced combos emerge because mashing stops working. Get triggered, drink cheap beer, play the story, develop shitty habits, go online to get made humble.
I don’t want to get my ass kicked by infinite beta cheaters users.
I just like being prepared. I was never able to practice any stuff in the beta, cause I got a match every 10 seconds.
But to be honest, the truth is: I am a little pussy who hates losing. This is holding me back a lot, because without losing = no learning. I am always so nervous playing against other people online because of that.
real talk salute for being honest. I agree though, with getting that ass beat there is no learning. I’m not a lab scientist so I need to get my ass beat before going back into the lab. Otherwise I have no idea what I need to work on. I’m a shitty lab rat.
Trials with everyone. Gotta find out who I really like the most first. Then story, I guess. After that, ranked mode all day. Have to find my flaws somehow. Will definitely be looking around here for some endless lobbies for training.
I really wish any of the 6 DLC characters were coming out as day 1 DLC. I personally don’t care to play anyone in the main roster, except for possibly Nash/Rashid. Hoping Alex gets released first, but any of the other DLC guys would be fine too.
[Here’s hoping Dudley gets on the next wave of DLC in 2017 ]
