Let's assume it's SF5's Release Day - What will you do for the first few hours?

I’m going to play the story mode. Then after that I’ll go play the trial mode if it exists. Then I’m going to wreck shit up with Nash.

Tutorial mode, “Story Mode”, few Challenges, training for a bit with Cammy, Chun-Li and Necalli to see what changed. Play some matches with a buddy and online training mode.
Going to go in ranked and turn my brain off, start jumping, mashing cr.lp and dp’s.

Get back from Work.
Turn PC on.
Drink.
Play some matches.
Drink more.
First FT5 with a friend.
Drink more.
Next FT5 with a friend.
Drink more.
Fight with 4 chars on the screen.
Calling the other one cheater for having 3 more chars.
Ragequit.

No seriously, I will just play a little bit training mode, then some matches with friends(what we want to do since Beta2) and then maybe storymode and maybe some trials of they exist.

Play 2 on 1 dramatic battle.

What? They haven’t put that in? That’s silly.

Plug my Hori kai 4 on my laptop and hope that Capcom had finally added DirectInput support.

Play more Guilty Gear Xrd…

Run the game and leave it idle for a while so I can get the trading cards.

May be the only game in steam I try to get all the cards from. What’s the deal with the cards anyway? If you have a complete set and turn it into gems or w/e can you sell it for more?

I would never have thought people on SRK would care about Story Mode so much.

Training mode to cover main bases of anti air and punishes. Then proceed straight to destroying everyone in Europe with Bison.

Play some Cammy and wait for Juri Han.

Bitch about Ken being ass, lel

Give away league points to all as I get bodied by everyone.

Write furious posts on srk about the broken online

On day 2 I’ll get to work on the “This Is How You DON’T Play SF5” montage.

Crying while watching Twitch because I won’t be playing until I get my new PC.

Definitely gonna be playing story mode and play challenge mode (I assume there will be one) the first day. I rarely play online matches the first day of fighting games until I learn how to play with my character first.

If you collect all the cards you can craft a badge. Crafting badges will get you wallpaper, emotioncons, and/or coupon codes associated with the game. You can alternatively turn the cards into gems to get booster packs for cards for another game.

Think why PC version of SFV still doesn’t recognize my stick.

Grind training mode to find out what’s safe/combo punishable or adv/disadv on block for each character so I don’t get looped into stupid non-blockstrings when I actually play…

Looks like there’s going to be a ton of frame-trapping in this game so gotta know when it’s safe to press a button or what your standard options are.
