Lemme learn you something about halal food carts

uh no I’m not. I’m arab and I’ve had plenty of Shawrmas in my time.

I don’t know what it is, but it ain’t pure garlic sauce. I know it’s a mix of a couple things.

regardless, it’s not a garlic sauce. IF it even has garlic, it’s at an extremely minimal amount

Look at preperations.

gg

EDIT: Not looking to argue, let’s just agree it’s a delicious meal.

Usually it’s garlic sauce with schwarmas but they can also use sour milk/yoghurt sauce which has more of a bite cos it contains coriander and sometimes mustard seeds.

Hmmm, I live in the Bronx and we have a bunch of halal carts all over the place. You usually see some in Fordham Road, near hospitals (these guys get a LOT of traffic during lunch hours), I really should go downtown for this halal food though… it’s not like I’m ever doing anything.

You`re welcome.

GD? What’s that mean? o_O

General Discussion, lol. What a n00b. =p

Also yeah I’ve seen multiple halal carts, but this one must be on some next level shit to have a line like that. Makes me wonder if other locations are equal and just not as well known yet.

No, no other carts in NYC come even close to this one. Btw just in case you guys don’t feel like waiting too long, there is actually another cart run by the same group across the street and it’s (yes, follow me here real closely champs) the SAME EXACT GROUP. But I suppose if it’s your first time going, you should stand at the first spot with the longer line so you could appreciate it that much more

Remember folks, be liberal with the sauce bottles, those things get replaced asap so don’t worry about being too greedy aiit?

Nah it’s NYC we got places to be lol gimme that shorter line all day.

Tahini???

Nah that would be overkill if it was straight tahini

Nah, if it’s what I think you guys are talking about, it’s a garlic paste-mixture substance staple to any self-respecting shwarma/other halal foods vendor like everyone else said. Toum, I think:

Better picture that isn’t yellow:

Anyway, if this beats Zankou, then I need to head over there right now and eat some of that.

Damn I miss NY so much. Fuckin hate ATL

I go to NYC spending nearl $20 for a round trip train ticket just for this food it’s the best damn thing you can buy for $6 and as someone who eats lots of spicy food the red sauce is actually pretty spicy but my dumbass stil OD’s on it lol.

Going there this weekend.

I thought that sauce was always tzatziki sauce. All the halal places around me advertise “no we won’t give you tzatziki sauce recipe” and that shit is gdlk

I BEEN trying to tell these niggas about these carts. But they don’t hear me tho. Never hit up that one but I definitely can B.

your in ATL? so am I…wtf…

also Lamb and rice?..hmm might have to hit this up one day…I dont remember the last time I had lamb…

I fuck around with a bottle of ghost chili, and I still think their hot sauce deserves some respect

Have you ever tried Hala Whisky?
