AI has been my Friday night replacement for Don’s. S3 Santa Monica Sunday has been on hold for a couple weeks.

I have a setup but no monitor.
So, not to steal people or in any way replace Don. But I still have my stuff going on every other Sunday (used to be weekly) in Santa Monica (Link) and luckybear still has his Long Beach get together every Saturday which I highly recommend (Link).
I’m starting to gear mine towards emphasizing the tournament aspect and less the casuals (which take place before and after the tournament, and during once we get more towards finals). Also, I’m taking some notes from Fuller’s get togethers in the valley about making sure people are thinking about why they lost and trying to improve. I really want to foster improvement…
I have four setups (TV’s with people bringing three systems) plenty of space, and have now switched to every-other Sunday until demand increases (which it might with Don’s break?). If demand does increase, I’ll make every-other Sunday a tournament and the other casuals.
Just some other offerings relatively close in the SoCal region. I know they might be a drive but hey, lots of people drove to Don’s eh?
