Im currently designing a stick with the same dimensions as a hori v3-sa, that will include a plexi glass bottom to display the wiring. Before i start buying parts i want to have everything designed and know exactly what i need. I need to know if theres a way to install either ctf’s or a flexible LED strip that is powered by USB or Battery.
Here is some info on the basic LED stuff… theres good info on first page about using an outside source rather than the USB for LED mods…
I believe the LED strips you are talking about mostly require 12v… that wont work with a USB… your best bet is to use batteries if you are going to go that route…
I’m thinking about making a slimer box and wanted to add a green LED strip but they are all 12v, I’m happy I was able to find this thread.

Got almost all my stuff off ebay… Yes they are battery powered at 12v…
Gotta say that they (imo) look pretty good… Be prepared though because they are BRIGHT… Pics dont relay that they light up a room lol
