Most of them wont work period unless the training dummy is a tall character like Magneto, Dr.Doom, she-hulk etc. The main thing to take away from these combos is some very clever circumvention of hit stun decay. If you replaced any of the j.:d: with j.:l: in the regular jump cancels most of these combos wouldn’t work period.
Jump, Air Dash, j:h:, j:s:, land, instant jump + j:d:, Air Dash, j:h:, j :s:, …
I wonder if that would work? It would be really hard to do on crouching opponents, and you’d need an assist to help you sneak in a Kikouanken to get to the aerial part of the combo, but I wonder if it would work?

EDIT: Oh god, my arcade stick just broke in my hands. It literally crumbled while I was holding it. But before it did, I did see that you can get at least one repetition of this done. I won’t be able to practice more till I get another arcade stick.
well the combo video was really cool. when i saw it I finally thought that I could do decent damage with chun li. I had no idea that the combo’s would be kinda impractical. That, and for me chun-li is probably the most technically demanding character in the game so far, just trying to extend her basic combo’s. I still think she’s pretty good though
It’s mostly about the timing of your jc.LMMHS. Delay the S as much as possible. Find a rhythm that works for you. I don’t use that BnB much anymore, but I would generally time the LMM as quickly as possible, then a small delay before the H, then a big delay before the S.
Hey guys, I’ve got a question that’s been on my mind. What combo would you call your bread and butter and how much damage/meter are you getting off of it after your assists and hypers? Do you feel as if this is less, or more damage than other characters do?

Builds 1.7 bars. Does 452,000 damage meterless, 779,800 with 2 bars, and 959,000 with 3 bars (the 3 bar numbers assume you use Sentinel, because he’s arguably the best 3rd for Chun/Storm) Corner version does a little more damage and builds ~2 bars.
Combo off a ground/air throw into corner:
Throw, THC, :d:+:m: :d:+:m: :h: xx Lightning Legs H, :d:+:m: :h: xx Lightning Legs H, :d:+:m: :d:+:m: :h: xx Lightning Legs H, :s:.
Builds 1.1 bars. Does 630,00 for 2 bars or 801,000 for 3 bars (3 bars assumes Sentinel again)

Edit: About the combo…it’s basically a modified version of the Buktooth BnB. I find the stomp/fierce much more consistent than the j.LMMHS and my version causes less hitstun deterioration. It’s reliable enough that I can do it online against my buddy in Canada (I’m in Ohio).
Edit2: I updated my previous post with numbers. As far as your questions go, I feel like her damage is about average. She just has to work harder to get it.

Here’s my current list of bnb combos…I’m still not able to do your bnb unfortunately, but I’ve been very busy with work and unable to put in much time.
Standard opener:
Airdash, j.M j.S, (land), c.M s.H c.H, (jump cancel), j.Stomp xx Airdash, j.H, (land), s.M s.H c.H s.S, (super jump), [insert typical stomp + 2-3 lightning legs ender].
I’m having a hard time getting something better than this. The best I’ve come up with is:

Edit: I’d really like to learn a jump cancel loop combo that just uses j.MMHS and eliminates the j.L somehow. I’ll put in some lab time tonight if I can.
I’m a chun noob so I can’t do her jump cancel stuff (at all… maybe sometimes in training). She’s my point character and i pretty much do the same thing over and over again… but i am but slowly implementing her kikoanken (20% success rate aon).
my noob scrub bnb that i spam.
call doom assist then:
jump airdash (while still low to ground) j.hp, cr.l, cr.m, cr.h, launch -.- , one head stomp, j.H, Mash H, airdash, one head stomp, j.H, Mash H, airdash, one more headstomp, S (or directional S to switch character), land, (if a bit close to corner, dash forward then team hyper) if in corner, – team hyper with storm (ice storm + hoyokousen) , launch, j.H, directional S to call doom.
I really really want to learn that H jump cancel but it’s hard for me to connect the L and M M to H without messing up. I’ve spent a lot of hours trying to do it but my hands won’t make it happen. Her mission 10 sucks.
For the standard Buk bnb, just rush the j.LMMH part as quick as possible then delay the S til the last second. Then just learn the timing for the s.L to follow up and you’re set. It’s actually not too bad once you get the rhythm, but online is a different story. It’s also easier to do after a kikoanken (I’m not 100% certain why, but I think it has to do something with them being slightly higher off the ground when you jump cancel your c.H).
