This is probably correct - Dee Jay’s EX Sobat Kick crumple stun got removed, why not multi-hit-stopping FAs?
That list has been too accurate to not have been correct at the time of the leak, at least, that’s my personal opinion.
As for it being an accident or being planned… more likely planned than not - that’s an awful lot of information to get ‘leaked’ by accident. Then again, Sony can’t keep anything a secret these days, so Capcom could just as easily have trouble keeping information in house as well.
Yeah for awhile I thought the 2nd list was just something someone made up to piggyback off the first list, but after it got both Yoga Shangrila and Siberian Blizzard right, its safe to say that while everything there might not end up in the game, it was in at some point.
This is what I figured about these rumors. Rumors usually generate more thoughtful discussion than a simple announcement, too–since a lot of people just rage at the latter if it doesn’t meet their tastes. So rumors are a better way to get real feedback without jading the fanbase.
I’m going to say it was unintentional, I think they’d rather see the community’s reactions themselves when they release info. If they really want to see how the community reacts, they can have their moment and see what people think of the new additions/changes/whatever.
Much stranger things have happened in this industry when it comes to unconfirmed info. Officially sanctioned leaks are not uncommon. What is uncommon is someone owning up to it (but it is entertainment marketing, not global politics, so everyone forgets about a month after the game releases…wait! Just like global politics!).
I was thinking that maybe Capcom knows that info is being released by employees, but turns a blind eye to it( of course there is no way of knowing this to be true, but it is just a thought).
