you can get refunds for chars?

malph or sion next

i like both

sion can be played so many different ways

malph is a gdlk tank

choices choices

If you ask nicely, but you pretty much will only be allowed to get it once.

I’ve lucked out on two refunds so far: an IP refund for Jax about five months ago (on the grounds that he is terrible), and this refund for Lee Sin (on the grounds that I am terrible).

Malph is meh, hes a boring character except for his ult is amazing

Sion got nerfed, but his stun is still gdlk! Sion/Cho is just OP as fuck in a lane

Thats sick… although Riot probably doesnt care too much as theyve already got your moneys ;D

malph is REALLY good, he still CRUSHES a lot of squshie solo laners at top and still has good harass at bot, and if they take your harass in either lane they are dead at 6, almost nothing they can do to stop it.

Sions never really clicked with me, but his dps build is really good on certain teams and his ap build is super good on all teams.

hey guys i want to start playing, any good places to read up on tips for a beginner?

The in game tutorial isn’t too bad to start, it does give tips on the basic fundamentals in the game. I’m not sure how much basic stuff it gives but check out the sites mobafire.com and legecraft.com, they have champion guides you can read up on to help you out on item builds. My biggest piece of advice is just to play, it all takes practice and application. Learning items and champions takes the longest to learn IMO.

One key thing to learn is to last hit. You only get money if you get the last hit that kills a minion or creep, start up a custom game with just you and an ai bot and practice last hitting. It will really help your game alot if you learn how to do that with any champion.

This guide on Mobafire is a nice read for newbies (I read it myself when I started playing a couple months ago).

It helps to watch how other people play champs (and just how they play generally).

Rumble info is up

he looks pretty sick!

your W should enable you to keep chasing almost anybody in the game unless they blink over a wall or something. usually when E runs out it only takes like 2 or 3 seconds for it to come back anyways.

Rumble seems pretty fun.

Another Gundam! Blitzcrank has a brother in arms now.

I’m just now getting back into LOL after about a 1-2 month break (still butt hurt about not winning the 5000 RP from the slashdance contest.) Any Tryndamere/Morgana mains here?

Morg here what is your questions?

any noob friendly characters to mess around with till i learn a bit?

Ryze is the king of easy-mode champs. His skills are not difficult to figure out, his recommended items give a nice mix of survivability and damage…

Ashe is harder to play, but it will do you good in the long run if you can learn to play her well (she is extremely fragile so you must learn how to position yourself in fights to not get completely destroyed).

With either of these champs, you will often be expected to be the player who takes mid and essentially be the powerhouse for your team. If you aren’t confident in your ability to play mid, you should let your team know beforehand so someone else can pick a mid champion.

If you want to learn a champ who shouldn’t take mid (because you really shouldn’t load up your team with four or five mid champs), Sona has a reputation for being extremely easy to play.

Ryze and Ashe are good suggestions. In general, I’d recommend a long range champ. Besides those two, I’ll put Teemo and Nidalee in the mix. Use your traps for common areas (baron, dragon, buffs, popular grass areas, walkways, etc.) and support your team from long range. Nid’s a bit harder since she has a skill shot and cougar mode, but I’d say she’s an easy champ also.

Knowing when to hop in with a melee/tank is something you’ll need to learn with matchups, so it’s not a good start.

Just want discussion, really.
I found a guide for Morgana awhile back, all runes are AP per lvl and skills are ghost and clarity. I usually do really well. My build consists of Dorans ring, MPEN boots, Rod of ages, to the red mage cap with more AP%, and then I’ll start building survivability items. Is there a way I can make that build better? For instance, Rylais instead of Rod of Ages?

Don’t run clarity if you can possibly help it. Don’t bother with Rylai’s. You want magic pen reds and probably mana regen yellows, with AP per level or flat AP blues and quints.

I did use the mana regen yellows in the past, but recently switched to just all AP per lvl and haven’t noticed that big of a hit to my mana (but maybe that’s because of clarity.) The guide I build my morgana on is a solo mid guide so that’s what I use it as and it seems to work most of the time. However, I would like some more insight on MPEN reds or AP per lvl reds. I never got into the whole number theory part of LOL, I just want to know simply this: What is better for said character?

As for switching out clarity, what would you recommend? I’m so used to having clarity that I’m afraid of changing it out for something else. It keeps me in the lane much longer as I can just get health-regen off of black soil and kill minions real easily. What would you recommend if I switch clarity out as I’m sure I would have to modify my build, which would result in maybe a slightly different early game?
