yeah dudleys elbow has too much priority, i guess it makes up for not having a cross up. I use to practice the fadc gekiro combo, but i found it hard to get hp after mp. so i moved to doing the fadc gekiro combo without the hp. I dont use it at all in my matches because i dont feel confident in my execution for that particular fadc combo and if i fuck it up… i’ll get punished hard. standard mk hands fadc combo im ok with as its secong nature due to using it in vanilla.
You can’t hit Dudley on his elbow, but you can hit the rest of his body. So either take a little step forward for (PPP) HK Gekiro or (KKK) c.HK on reaction, or make it whiff when he’s jumping in from max range.
When I block Dudleys machine gun upper, I just do the old Bison scissorkick method and mash out HP hands. I saw you blocked quite a few without punishing. There may be better punishes but at least that one is easy, hehe.
Punish blocked mgb with st.mp st.hp xx lk gekiro. Hit confirm off the mp if you’re not sure of the timing. Or st.mp st.mp mk xx hands to stay safe. Just be careful because some will mash after you block it.

any more good videos of rokotsu the guile and gief videos are really good. but i can only find old videos of him in sf4. i want to see how he can handle chun in super because i can never beat that damn girl.
Try searching nico nico douga for his vids. If you arent a member use the nice niceo video director and type in some words like ‘gen vs’ or ‘rokotsu’ etc. You will probably also find other japanese gen players.

I only watched the first one, very risky doing the ultra reset there. Especially considering that has insanely tight timing, I wouldn’t dare to try it online haha.

In your Gen vs. Gen match, ( BTW: very nice parry and throw at 1:20) why did you start using the st. hk as a poke vs the cr. hp which has the same damage but more range?
good matches. just a few things i’d like to touch on.
1.WHYYYYYYYYYYY use crane cr.lk. I noticed as soon a super was ready I saw that button all over the place. And I was already seeing a lot too! There are much better alternatives to combo into super than crane cr.lk, or combos in general really.
2.So many ogas! I feel like there were a lot of matches that would’ve been lost if they had been punished correctly.(particularly when sagat had 2 bars and an ultra you did the falling oga, big NO NO)
Still cancelling the first hit! You got 4 hits to hit confirm that shit and get more damage! The only time it should be cancelled on the first hit is punishing Honda hp headbutts. (mp isn’t punishable in super btw )
I feel it’s tricky to time FADC correctly after 4 hits for the full frame advantage. In some cases you end up with 0, wasting the 2 bars in the process. Even after practicing this a lot, I feel more comfortable with only 1 hit, so I can make sure s.MP connects. It’s a muscle memory thing.
Don’t know if other people share this opinion, just trying to shed some light on it.
