You can actually do both qcf motions before the mk too. You just have to make sure on the second qcf motion that it’s fully forward or gekiro comes out. At least that’s how I do it. And it works well anyway.
The the way I’ve been trying to do, but don’t do it in tournament because I either come out with a Gekiro, or I miss the link lol.

how would you approach the mk>hands>mk>super combo on characters on ryu where you have to walk forward? Because when i walk forward then try to do the QCF+MK i get a gekiro, i’ve tried to get around this but i haven’t quite figured it out yet. I saw jibbo pull it off so i know its possible.

the dictator match… tense man!, also learned from that too. I play dictator and i never realised that his DR on landing has a bit of recovery…? am i right?!.. or did asiantom time it spot on as he landed??
Yea, like Akuma (air fireball) and Gen (Oga Wall cancel), when he lands from a DR he goes through that same weird landing animation.
It doesn’t look like much of an animation, but it’s there!
nice!.. i’ve caught an akuma with a super during a jump back fireball, but first time i’ve seen in on dictator. Can you catch akuma with a super/ultra if he does a jump forward fireball?..
…how did you time the ultra to hit dictator?.. where you waiting for him to be at a certain dropping height before pressing ppp?.. would i be right to say that you were buffering the QCF movement at the end… :?
The reason I think this would be hard is because I assume the fireball would act as some sort of shield since they are both falling forward together. It’s worth a try in training mode though :D. Neutral jump and jump back are go go go though. (though though).
During a DR you have a bunch of time to hit the ultra. At that time, I just did the QCFx2 real quick. I suppose you could buffer, but he falls so slow that you could just bang the motions out in the time that he’s falling.
I’d have to say the sooner the better. When I watched the video, I saw that dictator was actually in a standing animation on the ground >.< Usually when I hit them, they are still in the upside down DR animation in the air a little above the ground.
They grow up so fast. :sad:
I think you can actually be hit by dick’s devil reverse in some circumstances. Not shooting down that idea at all, but giving a heads up. Or maybe it was just with super…

I’ve been hit out of super a bunch of times (i don’t know why I tried that round, desperation) and once I think I was hit out of Ultra. I think that’s if you do it too early lol.
Do yall read the forums or watch vids at all, lol how the hell do yall not know you that you can super/ultra akuma after a high air fireball, and dictators dr is punishable but it gets harder the further you are away, due to lack of invul frames

Haven’t you seen all the tournament results, Gen places 4th every time. Thats putting in the most work without reward. 1st, 2nd, 3rd=prize money, 4th=ballz. You cant work any harder for nothin than 4th place.

I even can do de super move after the mK, but only if im in the right side, if im in the left, i do QCF+mk, QCF+p
I suppose that fast players can do it without buffer in any side.
Or you can just stay out of this forum if you dont like gen.
