Pedophiles - adults who want to have sex with children. An actual crime because a child does not have the experience or understanding to engage in a sexual relationship with an adult, as well as problems with power structures and that a child is not sexually mature enough physically to engage in adult sex.

While on the subject on pedophilia, I don’t have a problem or care if someone is feeling a attraction towards kids (because of biological factors) as long as they don’t act on their urges and look up child porn and shit like that. If they acknowledged that what they feel is not the norm and then seeks help for it then more power to them.

The urges a pedophile feels are potentially dangerous to children around them. Not just mentally, but it can actually physically damage the children. It doesn’t matter if they don’t mean harm because if they ever act on those urges it does cause harm, not just to the children but to the families. I’ve had to deal with a pedophile that used to hang out outside of my little sister’s school. He looked harmless and was nice but come to find out he was already registered for having sex with a minor. Help can only go so far with a pedophile, and at some point a pedophile needs to be discriminated against before he seriously harms a family.

You may say someone under the ‘age of consent’ yet older than prepubescent age is a ‘teenager’. But there’s no difference legally. You’ll be branded a ‘paedophile’ even if you were approached first and they lied about their age for instance. So are they children or not?
