Is there anything to its less about society just isn’t ready as it is
they don’t even know what they’re doing. Crazier than regular women sometimes, or all the time. Without limits. Can’t define themselves as one thing, so how can anyone else if it constantly changes and is different even, per-person.
Making their own definitions, going not just their own way and want to live a life without judgment and peace, but sure, going flaming while getting bad influences and following a road map where their stuff would scare even ru paul. And from the soup having clips of that show sometimes, it has.

Sadly, you can often predict the general response of this forum based on the demographics of those involved in whatever story or incident reported. The arguments and principles that were applied so passionately to group X, often are not consistent with those directed at group Y.
I’m not trying to assert that SRK is unique in this regard, but since you called out the people in this thread I felt it necessary to further emphasize this point.
please don’t take my words as insensitive. i’m on the side of the affected; i use the correct pronouns when needed; etc. the main issue i have with the TG community is the *want *(it’s not a ‘need’ in many cases) for some of them to preform SRS on properly functioning genitalia. it’s too drastic a solution and i side 100% with doctors that refuse to do it (if their reasons are strictly medical).
you don’t let the confused or imbalance sufferers self diagnose themselves. their mind betrays them.
I fail to see how they are ‘fighting’ for anything. It’s more like pleading/begging for sympathy until someone says ‘God! Would you shut the fuck up?!’ and just gives them what they asked for. Same with gay, civil, and women’s ‘rights’. What does marching in the street accomplish? It gathers attention to hopefully elicit sympathy for your cause and that’s all it does. But if the ones who you are asking to give you your ‘rights’ (how much sense does that make?) really don’t give a shit about how you feel, that’s all it will accomplish. Unless they simply get too annoyed, don’t want to deal with you any more and just give you whatever you asked for. I wouldn’t exactly call that ‘winning’, I mean you got what you wanted *technically * but you got it in such a underhanded bitch-made kind of way. You definitely lose some points for that (or at least you should).
They aren’t really taking anything by force. Just whining about it until someone stronger than them gives it to them, like spoiled children. At least the terrorists accomplish what they want to do with action (blowing niggas up or whatever they do).
The issue is the push for ‘equality’ never ends because it was never about that in the first place. It’s a ‘fight’ for dominance and they’ll keep begging and begging until someone slaps their hand with a ruler and says ‘NO!’. But as long as they’re in the position of accepting, they’ll never really be in control. The one who accepts is in debt to the giver.
I hate this, there is some actual good conversation hidden between the onslaught of trash SRKGD is known for.
Transgender people need visibility because this thread. Because this still represents how people see them, as the punchline of a joke. They aren’t people to them. They don’t have pasts and experiences and lives. They are just something to point at to say “See, I’m normal and this is not” so they can perpetuate their belief that normal exists, and they are on the right side of it. They need visibility because people still think it’s OK to be openly hateful to them for doing nothing more than living.
The irony to me is that there are plenty of people here on SRK who know what it’s like to be marginalized by the media, having a false image of them perpetuated on television and in movies, but at least they this other more marginalized group to make jokes about, right?
I really think the problem that the “normal” people have is the change in vocab
"man and woman"
To cis and trans people
To the annoyingly overbearing "use those terms"
To the radical plastic surgery
Then to the guys who fetishize the trans people
That’s the problem really like gays of the past. Society sees the trans community as a group of deviant freaks. In reallity they are as human as we are just born with mentality of the gender opposite of what they are born as.
I have giant concerns with genital mutilation and plastic surgery in general.
I think plastic surgery can be used to normalize a person with a cleft palate or fix things like a nose that can’t be breathed through. Or even breast implants for men and women who had to go through masectomys.
But to just outwardly undergo radical surgery to change your face and body. It’s always due to the mental imbalance. I feel for these people because they are never comfortable in their own skin and are treated as sideshow freaks.
Yes i have trans aunts and uncles. But the people “fighting for them” as it seems just give off that irksome
Raz0r: I guess so. It’s more of a comparison. When I hear the word ‘fight’ I don’t think of a whining competition. At least the terrorists maintain their dignity in the process as opposed to sacrificing it on the altar of public sympathy. Plenty of other groups already doing that ( blacks, women, gays, etc,). Their all basically begging for acceptance and trying to appear to suffer more than the last guy to gain pity (and whatever else they want in the process). Whoever can be the biggest victim wins (and loses in another sense). I personally, think that shit is lame as fuck.
There’s clearly not much stopping transsexuals from doing from what they want to do. The pictures above demonstrate that. And they can even get good results sometimes. Maybe I just don’t see the issue here. What are they ‘fighting’ for exactly now?
Dab00g makes a good point. Why isn’t this treated as mental illness? If I went to the doctor and said I wanted to get my penis chopped off, he’d probably say I was crazy and refuse to do it. But if I said I wanted to be/felt like a girl, that makes it acceptable now?
Not being marginalized, having fair representation in the media, destroying the heteronormative and binary gender normative attitude of society, being seen as humans and not the punchline of a joke or the object of disgust…
All those things you wrote could easily be applied to paedophilia/paedophiles for instance (more so actually), but because that’s something that’s politically incorrect, people act like it’s suddenly a different situation.
