Against theMochaLatte (Great gold player in the top 300!) so this match should be educational for everyone as far as what Ken’s pressure can do to Laura.
Are there any solid Laura players to look out for?

I like jibbo’s playstyle
Yeah Jibbo and Vryu are my favourites right now.
Does anyone have vids of how to deal with Birdie?
that first game perfectly sums up my matches againt chun…
Not exactly high level play but here’s mine. I struggled real hard in the 1st week of the games release coz of the tech from SF4 became a bad habit for me in this game. Surprisingly enough, this match didn’t have much lag even though the guys flag is Japan.
I’ve made a handful of tutorials and random tech videos over on my channel. I recommend these to people picking Laura up, but you guys might find some new stuff in them as well.

jiBbo uploaded his run in with GentlemanThief (repping R.Mika) on YT. One of the best American VF5:FS players is on that SFV grind and repping R.Mika (just like Fuudo). Really good match and jiBbo does a match analysis afterward.
This video should be staple viewing for every Laura player who’s trying to utilize her the best ways possible. It’s easy to listen to and the creator of the vid has ACTUAL examples of Laura fundamentals during vs and ranked matches. It’s gold.
Fought a pretty decent Vega. I know blocked fireball from up close is unsafe but I’m trying to figure out at the moment what block strings to do so the fireball doesn’t hit right away I a real match. I guess you can say it hits meaty so you are at an advantage and counter hit set ups.

You really shouldn’t let him get away with stance switches like that. st.HP xx SC is -2 or -3 i think. You shouldn’t worry about command grabs none the less.
The problem is that it’s hard to tell if he is doing stance switch or ASE. If you commit to trying to check him too early after s.HP then you’re gonna eat lp ASE and then he gets pressure afterwards.
I wasn’t to sure if it was safe or not because it happens so fas. I did later on contest it. What is ASE?
Aurora Spin Edge, his qcbP with claw on. Has the low, medium and high versions that all move him backwards.
With lse I wonder how big of a frame trap that is, you could try to delay a crouching light 1 or 2 frames after s hp recovery and it should still beat out any medium or slower normal or at the worst trade with a light since he’s -2 on claw switch. I think his only 3 frame normal without claw is s lk, not sure how often they go for that. Probably hard to reliably time this though?
Hey guys i was working on this let me know what you guys think?
tips very appreciated guys
I know I need to work on teching throws
