However if your reactions are top notch you can interrupt them for a counterhit or just ex elbow it if you don’t trust your reactions that much.

s.LP strops all of karins VT rekka followups after the first one except the slide and the palm which are both horribly unsafe on block. You shouldn’t be getting mixup with VT on block.
I also played a very Solid Karin. Karin can bully you a little with normals but be very patient and you can counter poke her and damn 5MK is good. I wonder how good it would of been if they didn’t nerf the hit box from beta 2.
Mika’s f hp xx v trigger, anti air grab/command grab mixup loses if you reversal hp elbow (grabs the anti air/recovers in time to punish even with f hp). If mika strikes instead of going for a command grab, hp elbow loses
Yeah. Whilst I don’t think Laura is absolutely awful, it feels like she’s fighting with a handicap more than half the time.
Fighting a good Ryu, Karin, Chun, Vega or Necalli is suffering.
What could really be done to make Laura better without making her ridiculous.
Easier hit confirms? I feel like I am just trying my hardest to bait counter hits cause she has no fast high or low mix ups. Then you have ez mode characters like Karin, who has high lows all day with really easy hit confirms into super.
Regarding the Birdie matchup, I took a look at follow ups to cr.MK, LP Bolt Charge on hit and with Birdie it seems we can do almost everything. His fastest normal is 4f so we can go into command throw / any normal besides hard ones without a problem. I tried to reversal with Birdie and all I could do was get CA out (though I may just suck at it and / or the timing with Ex Bullhorn is just bad). I guess once we are in it is an uphill battle for Birdie.
You can even crush counter her rekkas… anything can interrupt em… you have too anyway or you are fucked from her cheap mixups…
Either way I was bodying a mate of mine… untill he chose Rashid…

I played Rashid in the beta and people do not punish stuff they probably should. The only safe mixer on block is the non-mashed LP one and it leaves you on neutral. The flying kicks are not safe at all. Divekicks are safe if they hit your lower body though.
Just v-reversal it.
All eagle spikes are punishable by f hp TC. A lot of his pressure is unsafe, read his frame data
