Aw that’s dissapointing. I thought there would be something cool or special about it. I guess you’re in CG range afterwards but i’d rather do qcf+p for corner carry. Where the hell are all these amazing laura players coming from though like, for real. I’m getting creamed. This one player in particular kept doing loops with standing and crouching mp’s and I couldn’t figure out wtf to do about it.
Not feeling this character at all, not my cup of t abel was much more fun and interesting in terms of gameplay, she feels barebones and boring like almost everything else in this game.
I love her. Even though she might be a little bit weaker than Mika at the moment, I am doing much better with her somehow.
I prefer her V-Skill over Mika’s. It’s so useful imo and is very versatile.
I think she needs more links they look they all can combo but the frames dont let her ;_; I have a crap load of videos to upload for laura in a moment.
You can get a meaty V-skill Sean Kick setup after EX Thunderclap > walk forward a split second > st. mk xx V-skill.
The st.mk resets them, and the V-skill hits meaty on the last (?) active frame. You can combo into st.LP afterward on hit.
And, if they block, it’s probably safe…though, I didn’t test that. Just got booted, lol.
EX Thunderclap seems to have some nice reset, side-switching potential thanks to her V-skill dash. Maybe that’s why her hit-confirms are lacking…
Had fun with her, managed to do well using tick throws a lot.
Her command grab leaves you at a good position afterwards, if they quick rise you can dash in and keep up pressure, or go for another command grab. Her target combo also leaves you in a perfect position for a lk command throw.
HP elbow is also a pretty good antiair. her mp is kinda lacking there though, kept getting beat out.
